Kokichi was his normal self. It hadn't even been a couple of weeks, but Kokichi already had a reputation. To him, it was funny to mess with some of his classmates like Kiibo, or Shuichi. But to other people, he was just an annoying, untrustworthy, liar. But that was exactly who he was.
Maki and Himiko got the most annoyed by Kokichi. There would be times where Himiko would ask Kokichi to be a lab rat for a spell she was trying. And he would just tell her to fuck off. Or Maki where... she hated just about everything he said.
But he had only one kinda friend. That was Saihara Chan. But it wasn't like a normal friendship. Kokichi just found it most enjoyable to be around Shuichi. But to Saihara, he was just tolerable. Sometimes it would harder to stand his presence though.
Those were the main relationships Kokichi had at the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles. There were people who could tolerate him, and people who couldn't.
There was no in between.
