14. The Awkward Part

So here I was, stood in front of Delta, trying to have a normal conversation about my singing, and all I could think about was Joe.

Yet again, he's making my life awkward.

But I wouldn't want it any other way.

"Hey, are you alright? You seem a little distracted." Delta asked warily.

"Oh! Uhh, no I'm fine." I said, blushing.

"Maybe you should go get a drink. You look a bit warm." She said, now worried.

"OK." I said and walked away, still thinking of a certain Jonas brother.

I was wearing this:

I was siting at a table alone, questioning my life choices.

"Have you spoken to him yet?" someone said and I jumped.

I turned around and before me stood Aydan.

"No."

"Why not?" He frowned and sat down beside me.

"I'm really scared... And awkward." I said.

"Well you do know I'm going to force you right?" He grinned.

"Yup." I groaned.

"Come on then." He pointed.

"Now?" I asked, bewildered.

"Yes. Now come on." He dragged me by my elbow.

And that was how I was stood in front of Joe Jonas' door my cleanched fist raised, about to knock.

I had been standing here for a solid minute, preparing myself to knock.

And then the door opened.

I hadn't knocked.

Joe walked into me and I closed my eyes, preparing to fall.

But I didn't feel the ground.

Was I flying?

I opened my eyes hesitately and was faced with the beautiful face of Joe.

"Hi." I whispered and did that weird, awkward smile.

"Hi." He laughed breathlessly.

He put me back on my feet and scratched the back of his head.

"Uhh, do you want to come inside?" he asked.

"Umm, well, we're you just going somewhere?"

"I was actually going to find you." He said and I swear he blushed.
