road trip

- you decided to take a road trip together for new years

- the plan was to drive for three hours, have a night at a hotel or something then drive another three hours the next day because god knows six hours is too long to spend in a car

- he decided to drive first, he had packed a whole bunch of snacks to have in the car as well as like fifty CDs to play because the mf likes his music

- you chatted pretty much the whole time and learned some things you never knew before

- three hours, one bag of pretzels and half a tin of pringles later you arrived at the little motel you had booked to stay at.

- it looked a bit run down and the outside had been painted a dusty blue colour that was in desperate need of a makeover.

- you grabbed your pajamas from the back seat of the car and went in your hotel room to get changed

- "oh fuck" you muttered

- "what" he said looking over at you with one leg in his pajamas

- "i forgot my toothbrush" you said with a grimace

- he went 😳 "oh shit me too"

- that bed was the most uncomfortable thing you have ever slept on so you resorted to sleeping on the couch together, it wasn't very big so you had to make an effort to not accidentally push him off but you made it work.

- morning came and you were outta there and back in the car for day two of the trip.
