I tapped my fingers against my legs and glanced around. I know they're here, so why haven't they attacked me yet? Are they waiting for someone? Or...

Are they waiting for me to do something?

"I'm kinda turning myself in so can you guys stop making this awkward?" I said.

"I thought you said you did nothing wrong." Batman stepped out from the shadows.

"I've done plenty of stuff you could consider wrong. I just didn't manipulate Kaldur or Orin."

"As you keep saying." He handcuffed me and roughly dragged me away towards a Zeta Tube. He typed in the destination and before I knew it, we were in the Hall of Justice.

"Wow. Am I not good enough for your top secret orbiting satellite?" I rolled my eyes.

"You'd like for me to take you there wouldn't you?"

"Actually I don't even like flying. I doubt I'd like orbiting."

He didn't reply except to drag me into what appeared to be a meeting room.

"I got her."

"Huh. Didn't think you could do it." Superman said.

Batman glared at him. "Where's Aquaman?"

"He left without an explanation. And I tried to stop him for the record. Now, what did you do to them?"

"What did I do to who?"

"Aquaman and Aqualad. To those kids. Wonder Woman told us the gods are dead so what did you do to them?"

I narrowed my eyes and the bottle of water in front of the Flash started shaking. "You sure you want to accuse me of that?"

"Is that a threat?"

I looked at Diana. She refused to look at me. I sighed. I'm on my own.

"It is if you keep accusing me of hurting the people I care about."

"What can you do? You're handcuffed." Flash propped his feet on the table.

I stared at him and pulled my wrists apart, snapping the chain. "Oops, now I'm not."

Batman swung a punch and I ducked underneath. I didn't fight back, not wanting to cause Kaldur or Orin anymore trouble.

Superman joined in and it got harder for me to dodge. I was half-tempted to burst the pipes.

Water shot past me pinning the two heros to the wall. The other Leaguers shot to their feet.

"Really? I had that handled."

"Sure you did, princess." Dad lowered his trident and walked forward to stand next to me.

"Aquaman, who is this?!" Batman struggled against the water. It tightened around him.

"Percy's father."

"Orin, go find her guard. Make sure he's safe. I can handle things here."

"Please do not hurt them."

"We'll see."

Orin rushed away and Dad moved so he was slightly blocking me from the others.

There was silence.

"You have a lot of nerve." Dad growled, hand tightening on his trident. "My daughter has done nothing but do her best to protect those she cares about and you treat her like shit. You treat her like she's a villain."

Red swirled in the water and I grabbed Dad's arm. "Dad."

"Not-"

"Don't kill them."

"I'm not going to make any promises."

I tugged on his arm until he looked at me. I stared him in the eyes, my hands shaking. "I've already seen too much, please don't add to it. I don't need more nightmares."

"Okay, but you are getting yelled at after this. There's a reason he's assigned to you and you can't just ditch him."

"I know." I mumbled.

"Speaking of yelling..." Dad turned to stare at Diana. "What in my brother's name were you thinking?! You attacked her! You attacked a demigod, your cousin who's saved the world from my father and grandmother and you choose to focus on one of the few people she wasn't able to save."

I could hear the ocean outside grow violent and I could only hope there wasn't going to be a hurricane.

He soon shifted his focus to Canary and began yelling at her for the treatment she allowed of children under her care, of two people she knew had tried to commit suicide.

I whimpered and wrapped my arms around Dad, pressing my face against his shirt. He moved slightly so he could wrap an arm around me protectively.

I could feel a cool breeze and then suddenly the sound of the raging waves grew louder. I peeked up and noticed Supey wasn't in the room anymore, there was a hole in the walls, and Dad had the Flash by the neck. He threw him through the hole. The Flash disappeared from sight.

A small smile crossed my face, one that widened when he rushed back and yelled, "Not cool!"

"Neither is accusing my daughter of harming people she would have died for. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to go get her ice cream. Come on, princess."

Dad guided me out and we managed to avoid the news crew constantly camped out front. It was a quick walk to the nearest ice cream shop.

As we sat eating our ice cream, I stared out the window.

Dad sighed. "I never asked you how you were, after the torture."

"It's fine."

"No it's not. I'm your father and I should have asked. I should have made sure you were okay. If I had maybe you wouldn't have..." He trailed off.

"It wasn't that, Dad. I just- it was all too much. I wanted everything to stop and I wanted Kaldur to be happy. He says he is, but this is the second time he tried to kill himself. And since we left the Team, he's been so stressed. I don't want to put him through that."

He chuckled and stared at his ice cream. "Promise me that if you ever think about it again, you talk to someone."

"You already threatened me."

"I shouldn't have. I want you to be safe and that was the first thing I could think of. But please, promise me that you'll talk to someone."

"I will. Besides I can't get rid of the oath. He modified it so I can't dismiss him. I'm not going to risk killing him."

Dad smiled at me and got up to leave. He paused next to me and kissed the top of my head. "Stay safe, princess."

"I'll try."
