Lisa and I decided to take a stroll around. We woke up around 3am because Lisa apparently was craving for some noodles
Well of course considering the people that might recognize me
We wore masks and hoodie plus it was night time so there was less percent someone might accidentally know me
Our hands were intertwined with each other and were tugged safely inside Lisa's pocket
"This is nice" Lisa said
"What is?" I asked her
"This" and she motioned her lips to the direction of our hands
"Why?" I asked her
"Because I feel like I get to show everyone that you are mine and I am yours" she said as she brought our hands out and kissed mine on the back
It did brought guilt to me though, having to keep our relationship for the sake of my reputation slash image
"I'm sorry" I said to Lisa
"Why are you apologizing all of a sudden?" she asked me completely confused
"Because we need to hide" I said, looking down and we momentarily stopped walking as she looked at me
"As long as we're together, nothing else matter" she said to me as she kissed my temple
"I'm so lucky to have you. I love you" I said to her
"I love you" she said to me

We were eating noodles at some place, there were only few customer when I suddenly felt a weird feeling like someone was staring at me
I look at my back and my side but no one was there, no one was even staring at our direction
"You okay?" Lisa asked me as she noticed my unusual behavior
"Yeah but I think we should go home" I said to Lisa
"Okay?" Lisa said hesitantly but still complied
But before we could even step out of the small restaurant there was a person who entered the place
"Put your hands up! Everyone of you!" the man shouted as he pointed us his knife
Everyone inside the restaurant choose to obey, scared that he might to something to us
Lisa looked at me and her eyes shown that she was scared something might happen to me so I just gave her a small nod
But to our unluckiness the man noticed me and went to my direction
"You're the CEO right?" he asked me as his knife was pointed at my neck
"Yes" I answered him confidently, I don't know why I was confident even in situations like this
Maybe because I know Lisa was with me
"What a sweet" the man said as he suddenly tried to drag me out of the restaurant while gripping my arms tightly
"Not so fast bastard" I heard Lisa said and after that the pain from the grip of the man earlier was now gone
I looked to my right were Lisa was standing previously and now she was with the man and she was trying so hard to fight
Lisa's size was just like half of him that's why he was much more stronger and powerful
"Lisa!" I called her as soon as I saw how the man's fist connected with her face and it was a hard one because the man was able to look at me and stand immediately
I backed up as I saw the man targeting me and preparing to stab me. Lisa was down and the man was coming for me
So I just closed my eyes preparing for the pain that the stab would deliver
But instead I was pulled in a familiar scent
My home
I opened my eyes and it was like there was a slow motion button on me that I saw the most painful thing I've ever saw
I was pulled by Lisa in an embrace and as soon as she pulled me the knife penetrated her back
It did not stop there, as the man continued to stab her back and she groans in pain and then I hear someone laugh and I look at that direction
Kai
Kai was the reason behind this
"I'll kill her" he warned me
I thought I could protect her turns out she was the one who protected me
The man ran as fast as he could out of the place and Kai was gone when I looked for him the second time
Lisa was getting heavier as she leans in on me
"I love you" she said weakly as she started to fight for air
"No don't do this Lisa! Fight for us please" I said as my tears won't stop from coming out of my eyes
"Lisa!" I called out
"No! No! No!" I shout desperately
"Lisa!" I shout
And then it was gone
"Baby, wake up!" Lisa shakes me
And I opened my eyes, realizing it was just a nightmare
"Lisa?" I asked trying to make sure it was over
"I'm right here baby" Lisa said as she holds my hand and caress it comforting
And I cannot help myself but to jump into a hug with her
And I started to sob
"I thought I lost you" I said as my tears were continuously pouring
"It was just a nightmare Nini, I'm here now" she said as she draw circles around my back to comfort me
I was scared
I cannot see that happen in reality
Kai might really do something to her
I promised that I'll protect her
I love her that's why I'll be doing what I'll be doing
Please forgive me
Please don't hate me
I think I know now how to protect Lisa
And I think that's by letting her go

"hmm?" she said as she continues to draw small circles on my back
"please look at me" I said to her and that was when she looked at me but still not letting go of her embrace in mine
"what is it babe?" she asked with the slip of an endearment, oh shit this will hurt like hell
