So I'm taking a creative writing class this year which I love. I have unpublished a poetry book I had before cause I'll admit, it sucks. I might fix up some of those poems and make them up to my standards now but idk. Maybe. Sometimes we like shitty poems to see how much we've grown.

                                     Contaminated

She strips off all her colors

And watches them mix with the water

A rainbow runs off her skin and stains the tile.

All the discolored blemishes are what trying to be clean will leave

So the floor is another dirty thing in the room

She's just another filthy girl that's crying in an already filled bathtub

Convincing herself that this time she can wash out his words

She pushes them all down the drain like tears down her throat

Just for all the colors to come right out of the facet that she cleans her hands with

And sink back into her skin

Another poem book because I have learned how to write not as shitty poemsWhere stories live. Discover now
