I walk up to the door and knock. I look around the property and take in all the green plants that are turning colors due to it being fall.  I hear the door open behind me and I turn around.

"You called for me?"I speak up

"Yes, I need to speak about visiting hours"

I rub my now sweaty hands on my legs "I-I thought we said when she was ready we would talk about this again"

"It's been a month already"

"I k-know but, she hasn't s-said anything"

He walks out and closes the door "Do you even ask her about seeing me?"

"I'm b-busy to ask her anything to due with you. When I'm home I want to be with her"

"Rebbeca"

I close my eyes before opening them again

"You took her from me, wasted so much time. You don't think its important for her to see me now?"

"Nick-"

"No Rebecca, if you can't do this fairly, I will call my lawyers"

"You wouldn't do that"I speak as my eyes tear up

"I will if I have to"He states

"You can't just come back into our lives demanding us to work with you right away!"

"The hell I can! You ran and took my daughter away!"

"I was carrying her at the time. She went where ever I went, I couldn't change that"I chuckle annoyed

"Rebecca, I am being more than fair considering what you did to us-"

"What I did to us!? You can't keep blaming me for us, you ended us after I couldn't get pregnant!"

"All I am saying is that if I don't get a visit within the next two days, my lawyers will be at your door at 12 am the last day"

"Nick-"

He turns around and walks back into his house as I stand there hurt....

I watch her run to the slide laughing. I laugh at her silliness when I see a black car pull up, knowing it was him I walk closer to my baby. I hear the door open up and close as I help Char onto the stairs

"A park?"He calls out

"What she wanted"I state as she runs onto the slide top

He smiles at her and lights up as she giggles

"Daddy?!"She squeals from the slide end

"Hey baby"He names

She turns on her stomach wiggling her way down and hops off before running

to me

I chuckle and pick her up

"He my daddy?"

I nod softly and she wiggles out my arms and runs to him. She grabs his finger and tries to pull him to the stairs of the playground

"Careful Char"I warn

She laughs as she runs across the bridge, I chuckle watching Nick in his suit run after her trying to tickle her.  I turn to grab the picnic basket when I hear her start crying. I turn around and run to her voice and see her on the floor. Nick hops off the playground and picks her up. 

"It's ok"He soothes her

"What happened?!" 

"She fell but, she's ok right Charlie?"
