(No ones POV)

The area around her is so quiet, almost to quiet. Even her advance hearing couldn't pick up on anything. This must be 'the calm before the storm'. It fits the situation very well. So well that she could feel chills running down her spine. Must be nerves. A low sigh escaped her lips as she continued on wards home.. So many things were running through her head, she could barely keep up. But why was he constantly on her mind. He should be the last thing on her mind. But he's not and she didn't understand why.

Yeah, Paul is a nice looking guy. Tall, like she likes them. Big brown eyes, six pack for days. His tan skin. His tribal tattoo really standing out to her for some odd reason. She guessed as she lived longer the more her preference changed. And his smile, she can feel her heart skips a beat when he looks towards her. But other than all that, She didn't really know a lot about him.

Now that she was thinking about it, how come he doesn't detest her like the rest of us Cold ones. He can't seem to stand the Cullen's, that much was pretty obvious. But how come he wasn't bothered by her? It took old man Quil and Harry a long time to get used to her as well, not to mention their ancestors. But how come it wasn't like that with Paul.

A low sigh escaped her lips as she continued walking, this shouldn't be on her mind right now. In fact, it should be the very last thing. Shaking her head. "I have to stay focused." She told herself repeatedly.

Completely lost in her own world she almost missed the obvious giant wolf walking towards her.

Even when its almost completely dark out here she could tell who it was. His beautiful fur shown in the moonlight that got passed the thick trees. It almost looked black. But she knew the different tones of brown were there. And his eyes. In the dark it seemed they grew bigger. It might scare even the bravest of humans but they showed no threat whatsoever. So beautiful.

A small smile graced her lips as he stood in front of me, she could see his tail swaying side to side. It was actually pretty cute. Holding out her hand in front of her, she started to pet the side of his giant head. Only then did she see his tail moving violently. She then couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"You really are a big dog."

Paul playfully growled at her, but nothing threatening at all. Moving her hand behind his ear she couldn't help but scratch it a little. Trying and failing to contain her laughter, she couldn't help herself. With his back legs going up and down with every scratch, how could I not laugh.

After a few more scratches she then stopped and rubbed the side of his face. Her eyes looking into his as she did so. Nothing else mattered in that small moment. It was just them. Why is this happening to me? Why do I feel so anxious right now? His big brown eyes, they have to be looking into my soul. But I can't tear myself away from them.

"So, is there a reason that you're out here or?" She finally ask stepping away from him. Her hands going behind her back as she looked at the shapeshifter in front of her. Since when did I start becoming bashful?

Tilting his head to the side she heard a small growl. Or maybe some kind of whimper. Not really sure but he gave her pleading eyes as he turned and trotted over to some thick trees. After a few seconds he came back. He had his hands in his pockets of his jean shorts and surprisingly he had a shirt on as well. Not that she was hoping to have no shirt, nope.
