"Hope. it's a four letter word. It creates happiness and gives someone a light in the darkness." I start staring at the audience. Hidden by the darkness. "People lose hope, some people don't even believe in hope. Hope is just another word for wish. 'I wish this would happen' and 'I hope that would happen.' it's over used and not many people know what it means." I take a breath. I need to slow down. "Hope means a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen. It can also create fear. But that's a different discussion altogether."
