"ma you know where K'Saun at?" I asked looking at my momma, I was on the urge of crying cause my baby gone
"Ashiah he outside by the bouncy houses with them other kids" she said and I shook my head 'no' quick
"ma — ma no he ain't, I looked everywhere and I can't find him" she gave me a face that showed she was worried and confused
She got up and went outside to the backyard looking around
"Y'all seen K'Saun?" my momma asked my cousins and they shook they head no
"the last time I saw him he was playing by the bouncy houses" Tasia said shrugging a little
"Ashiah how the fuck you lose yo' son?" my momma turned looking at me
"I — he was, he was running with Collin when I was talking to Kentrell. After that Kentrell went over to him and— Kentrell"
"You let Kentrell take him?" she asked scrunching her face up
"no I ain't let Kentrell take nothing, he did it on his own when nobody was looking. Obviously"
"Ashiah you better go find him, now. Come call his ass " she grabbed my arm and pulled me back into the house and upstairs
Once we got in the room she let go, I was still shook at the fact I thought I lost K'Saun
"m— my phone downstairs ma" I nervously said and she sucked her teeth
"look, you playing and I'm finna beat yo' ass for real. Go get the damn phone and come back"
I left out quick and made my way downstairs before coming back up
"hurry the fuck up before I kill yo' ass cause you done pissed me off. How the fuck you let yo' son outta sight?"
"His daddy had him, I ain't need to pay attention" she raised her hand up to hit me but I moved
"Symone, you finna die today. Call him, call him now"
I called Kentrell and he didn't answer. I just looked up at my momma and she was mugging me
"Call him again, and don't stop til he pick up" I rolled my eyes but did as she said
I don't know how many times I called him but it gotta be over fifty times. He ain't answer not one time
Each time he ain't answer it just made my momma even more mad
"look you on yo' own cause you should've been watching him. Ain't no telling where Kentrell crazy ass done went with him"
She walked out and I sighed before clicking on my Twitter app

As soon as I exited out of Twitter my phone started ringing and it was Kentrell. I answered the phone quick with no hesitation
"say, you all on Twitter posting shit and you got people bashing me. Now you really finna be mad cause I ain't bringing him back"
"Kentrell ain't nobody tell them to bash you, and I ain't make it seem like that. They did that shit on they own"
"now you know what it feel like to not be able to see yo' son. Stay off my phone a Ashiah" he said dryly
"Kentrell where you at, I'm finna call the police on you" I threatened and he started laughing
"fuck you and the police" after he said that he hung the phone up and I groaned
