Double Trouble

Chapter 10 -

Ok, chapter 10 is FINALLY done...it was by far the hardest chapter so far to write since I had to work all weekend. I was drained both emotionally and physically. As always, I have not even done a read through on it, so if something doesn't read right, PM me and let me know.

Chapter 10

“Get back here NOW!” Grey’s booming voice reverberated Paige’s mind as she drove down the driveway.

“Screw you Grey, or I have a better idea; go fuck another blonde slut, you…you man-whore! Your alpha commands have no effect on me!” Paige seethed back at him. What an arrogant domineering royal shit. Who the hell does he think he is; assuming it was okay making all of her important decisions for her. His behavior pisses her off in a way that she has never been pissed off before.

“You get back here right now Paige, or else!” Grey threatened with a low growl. He did not have a clue as to what she was talking about. He hadn't had sex with a blonde since last week and that was before he found her, his mate.

“Or what?” Paige challenged, slowing the SUV to a barely  a crawl before stopping short of iron gates, then looked up in the rearview mirror; Grey’s coal black eyes met hers in an enraged stare. ‘Damn he’s sexy as sin when he’s pissed.’ Paige’s pulse quickened with her acknowledgement of her attraction for the one seriously pissed off man stomping down the driveway towards her. There was no denying her body’s reaction to him.

“I can promise you will not like the punishment I will give you. I AM YOUR ALPHA AND MATE; YOU WILL OBEY ME, PAIGE!” Grey commanded; still stomping towards her.

“Maybe we should go make sure he does not hurt her…” Mike worried as he watched Grey.

“No, let them work it out.” Ash ordered flatly. Even with Grey being pissed like he was, he would never hurt Paige physically. When Grey had first told him everything he was doing ‘for Paige’, Ash could not help his sneaking suspicion that this whole situation would end badly.  If Grey got out of hand too much, he would step in and he would protect her at all costs; even if he didn’t want her permanently.  After all, she was his mate too.

Paige was being oddly silent to his last comment about being punished by him as he reached the back end of the SUV.

“Good girl, I see you’re taking my promise to heart. Get out of the car.” Grey added feeling smugness and satisfaction that her silence meant his alpha command had worked and it was her way of communicating her subservience to him as he approached the open driver side door.  However, she still had not gotten out of the car, so he sent her another command, just with a little more power to force her body to do what he told her to do. That should do the trick, now feeling very confident that she would yield to his dominance over her.

Her whole being was beyond pissed in response to Grey’s last condescending statement.

“Gggrrr” Paige’s growl was so soft and low at the internal battle taking place; she was fighting her wolf for control. She knew that if she got out, he would dominate her by his sheer size and her wolf would submit to his authority. It was in her wolf’s nature to submit to male dominance.

‘Shut up wolf, I have spent the past 12 years being my old pack’s shit catcher; domineered, disrespected and disavowed by everyone.  They never gave me a choice about anything; only their wants and needs mattered, mine never did. I will not give you control over us just to have you bow down to that jackass of a man; not even if he is our mate!’ Paige screamed at her wolf.
