Mallory's POV

I am not feeling well. My head is aching like hell, I feel dizzy and I'm throwing up like it's gonna be forever. I'm sick and it's getting even worser knowing Nate is not here to take care of me. Maaga siyang pumasok and when I told him that I am not feeling well he just left me with medicines.

Last night was amazing and now mas pinili niya ang trabaho niya over his sick wife. I hate this feeling, I'm being childish and unreasonable. Importante kay Nate ang trabaho niya and I know that he is working hard for our future but agh! I am sick and he should be here taking good care of me!

Mabilis akong napatakbo sa banyo ng maramdamang masusuka na naman ako. Napahawak ako ng mahigpit sa sink the moment I opened my mouth and released the unwanted guest in my stomach. I gargled with water then with mouth wash to eleminate the stinky taste in my mouth.

I dialled Nate's number pero ring lang ring, I wanted to go to the hospital but I can't even walk straight. My vision is getting blurry and it seems like things are moving. I tried to sit straight on the bed but my body is not letting me to do so, It feels like Im dying. I once again dialled his number and when I heard his voice over the phone I passed out.

Nate's POV

Hindi ako mapakali sa upuan ko, I'm thinking of Mallory. I left her there even when she's sick. As much as I want to be there by her side and take care of her but I can't. The boards want me here so we could discussed the scene I made yesterday with our "supposed" biggest client. They putting the blame on me ng hindi ito pumirma and they are clearly not happy about it.

"How are you going to deal with this Mr. Mason?" tanong sakin ni Mr.Santiago, he's been here in the company since I don't know when. At wala ako pake sa kanya kahit matagal na siya sa kumpanta, wala naman siyang naitulong na maganda sa pagpapatakbo nito. Umaasa lang din siya sa board para yumaman.

"If I say I don't know how may maitutulong ka ba? may naiisip ka bang paraan?" angil ko dito. Kanina ko pa nararamdaman ang pag vivrate ng phone ko at ng tignan ko ito ay si number ni Mallo ang nasa screen. Hindi ko lang masagot dahil sa walang kwentang meeting na to!

"How dare you para ipasa sa akin ang problemang ginawa mo!" gigil na bato nito da akin, namumula siya sa galit at lihim akong humiling na sana maputukan ito ng ugat.

"Hindi sana magkaka problema ng ganito kung may naisip kang magandang paraan para mapa pirma siya!" ganting sigaw ko dito. I know I'm being hot headed and irrespective sa mga tao sa board but fuck nilalamon ako ng pag-aalala sa kalagayan ng asawa ko!

"Both of you calm down. Hindi makaka tulong ang pag sigaw niyo sa problema ng kumpanya." mahinahong sabi ni Ethan. Alam kong alam niya ang dagilan kung bakit ako ang nakipag kita sa babarng yun. And I know na alam din niya ang mga maduduming paraan ni Santiago to keep himself in the company, hindi ko lang alam kung bakit hindi padin sita gunagawa ng aksyon para dito.

"How can I calm down kung binabastos na ako ng lalaking yan Mr.Jaxon" galit pa din na sabi nito, I was about to defend myself pero nakita kong umilaw ang screen ng cellphone ko. Mabilis ko ito kinuha not minding the people around me, I said "hello" for about 5 times pero walang nagsasalita sa kabilang linya.

"Shit!" mabilis akong tumayo at nag paalam kay Ethan, siya lang naman ang kinikilala kong boss dito.

"At sa ka naman pupunta? tatakasan mo ang gulong ginawa mo?' mayabang na sabi ni Santiago, I looked at Ethan asking for his permission to let me go and he nodded. Alam niyang hindi ako basta basta umaalis da meeting unless emergency.
