The sun began to rise but did nothing to stop Adrien from scrolling through his Silly Social Phrase account. He enjoyed looking at all the creative things people say on the app that talked about their daily life.

For instance, there is a guy with glasses, wearing a green shirt with suspenders and looks like he could do math in his sleep. His name is Max Kante. His most recent post read: "There is no guarantee, that I could live without coffee. It's my morning battery, but I'm still unable to stay awake at school till three."

There was also this other guy with a red shirt and loves sports. Le Chien Kim or Kim for short. His recent phrase read: "You can show me your worth once you beat me and become first."

Adrien hadn't tried to post any phrases afraid that it would hint to someone that he was the famous Agreste model. He mostly enjoyed just reading people's phrases about their normal lives to relish a bit of normalcy himself. In this world of social media, this was the one place where no one would drown him in the spotlight and only show perfection.

This was the place of freedom from his responsibilities besides sending letters to his Lady. This was where he could be a normal teenager on social media. Minty green eyes scanned the screen until settling on an update from a skateboarder-looking girl named Alix.

"I'm a pringle, cause I'm single, but fries are always before guys," it read. Adrien laughed a bit and saw a picture of her with a bag of chips and McDonald's fries. Before he could see the next update from a Canadian looking guy, a knock came from his door.

"Come in," the blonde called, shutting off his phone and sitting up, legs dangling off the side of the bed. Nathalie opened the door but didn't enter the room.

"Good morning, Adrien. Your breakfast is ready," the assistant informed, scrolling through her tablet.

"Thanks, Natalie," Adrien spoke with gratitude, "...for everything." The woman gave the blonde a soft smile before shutting the door and walking away. Adrien changed into his everyday clothes then headed to the dining room to eat breakfast.

The teen walked into the room and felt a weight of loneliness on his shoulders. This wasn't the first time he's felt this way since his father was almost always unavailable. Yet, breakfast was sounding less appetizing. It was more sickening with every minute he stood there, staring at the empty dining room table with a single plate of food. He couldn't remember a time when even two plates were on that table.

Suddenly, breakfast became less of an important meal and more of nothing. Nothing but emptiness. Adrien turned and left the dining room, leaving the warm food to go cold like his home since his mother's disappearance.

Adrien drowned deep into his thoughts, letting muscle memory guide him back to the safety of his room.

"Adrien, shouldn't you be eating breakfast?"

The teen looked up with tired eyes to see Natalie and forced a smile. She didn't buy it for one second and frowned slightly.

"I-I lost my appetite," he admitted, looking at the floor. There was no response except for tapping on the tablet from the woman so he sighed and added, "I'm...going to go back to my room."

"Would you like to attend a dance in a few weeks?" the assistant asked, making Adrien pause for a moment and face her.

"A-a dance?" Adrien questioned, a little intrigued by the suggestion. Blue eyes met with green with sincerity within them.

"Yes, a dance. There will be many people around your age there and it sounds like something you might enjoy than staying stuck inside of your room," she explained, blankly. Adrien's eyes glimmered from sadness to joy in mere seconds.

"Yes, please," he smiled.

"...and thank you again...for everything."

"Marinette, you're drooling again," Alya stated, snapping her best friend out of a dream-like daze. The shy girl blinked a couple of times before quickly wiping away the slobber with her sleeve. She quickly looked at her crush, who was talking to some of his friends.

"Do you think he saw me? Oh, that would be so embarrassing! I'm so lame and weird," Marinette whined, head dramatically falling onto the desk. She had been staring at Luka like always and was whisked into dreamland. Yet, it would get to the point where she ended up with saliva running down her chin.

"Relax, Girl. He didn't see you, but I do suggest fixing your little drooling problem," the young reporter joked, earning a nudge in the side from Marinette.

"Oh!" Alya perked up and quickly took out her phone. Then, she asked, "Did you get my message last night?" Marinette's attention was drawn away from the teal-haired boy and curiously looked over at her best friend.

"What message?" The bluenette asked. Alya snapped her gaze over to Marinette. The redhead looked like a deer in headlights before viciously scrolling through her phone. The blogger then shoved her device into Marinette's face and simply said, "Read my last message."

Marinette took hold of Alya's phone and began to read her last message sent on their chat. Bluebell orbs widened in shock after reading the text message.

To Marinette:

Girl, I just found out the most insane news ever! Lila Rossi is pregnant! Pregnant! The father is still a mystery though...who do you think it could be? Maybe, someone in our school or a famous celebrity?

It took Marinette a couple more times rereading the message before looking away from the screen. Instinctively, her eyes glanced to the far back seat of the room and spotted the said teen talking with some classmates. Lila smiled brightly at each person and continued to lie through her teeth about a trip she took to the Achu Kingdom.

The bluenette pursed her lips in suspicion before looking back at Alya.

"I don't know, Alya. Are you sure you're not jumping to conclusions like you usually do?" The fashion designer asked, handing the phone back. The blogger retrieved her device and readjusted her glasses, ready to prove her discovery.

"I thought it was too until doing some digging. Before I go to my usual morning Gossip Girl announcements, I go to the restroom. I heard someone come in and barfed into the stall next to mine. When they came out, I saw Lila. She must have been having morning sickness," Alya explained, with a "matter-o-factly" tone.

"I'm still not convinced," Marinette stated, crossing her arms.

"I'm not done," the redhead said, "I've been noticing Lila has been a lot more sleepy than usual. She could be going through fatigue."

"So are a lot of people who are sick," Marinette argued back.

"Alright, then try to explain why she continuously goes to the restroom. You don't need to be observant to know that the many times Lila goes to the restroom isn't the norm," the redhead replied. The bluenette shook her head and sighed before a smile broke out on her face.

"Alya, I love you and all....but sometimes you can have the most absurd theories I've ever heard," Marinette said, earning a playful scoff from her best friend. Luka finished talking with his friends and sat down in his seat. A bubble of nerves began to float within the designer's stomach and heartbeat fluttered.

Before she fell back into dreamland, the teacher walked into the classroom and began class.
