The sun is exceptionally orange these past few days
It's as if it's trying its best to shine so bright
Amidst the worrying haze that keeps thickening day and night
And then it starts to drizzle at midnight
Drizzle turns to torrential showers
To heavy downpour to storms with thunder lights
Even the rain is angry and wants to fight
Birds are seen to walk on land rather than taking flight
But why do people still ignite?
Trees upon trees upon trees that is now out of sight
What we can see is only the smoke bellowing from forest locations we don't actually know, right?
But yeah go on, assume that it is from the neighbours' firelight
Why are we blaming other people for not doing what's right
When even we don't even take this thing to light?
All we do is complain and scream and type til it is past midnight
Wake up, can you see daylight?
No.
Just grey, unhealthy air, right?
Come on
Do we ever just get up and fight?
Maybe we just might
But knowing us, maybe not quite
