Call me
When you wake up in the light of morning
Let your first thought be of me
When you settle down from work and lie down in bed
The white ceiling above you
Now darkened in the shade of night
Let your last thought be of me
In the middle of a meeting
Or in the midst of business
Or when you're out having fun with your friends
Or when you're grocery shopping
Or when you're roaming down the crowded streets
Or even
When I am in front of you
Think of me
But
Did you, though?
Or did you only think of me when you're lonely?
When you need the attention?
When you need pleasure?
When you have no one to warm your bed?
When you're sick and alone?
When no one wants you anymore?
If the answer is no
Call me
If the answer is yes
Call me anyway
