The days leading up to her birthday seemed to take forever. The situation with Caleb was always at the back of her mind.
"What could he have possibly ever had to do with my family?" she thought to herself.
She decided to take Caleb's word and not tell anyone, not even her mum or Astrid. She decided It was best to keep it a secret between the two.
Caleb had never mentioned it again after that first day and Ava decided not to bring it up even though there were many opportunities for it- he was in all of her classes. Odd.
