After hours of work, I finally hear a knock at my door. However, this knock was very impatient.
"I'm coming, please be patient."
I then got up to answer the door. There was a man standing there, with a ski mask on. He put a gun to my forehead.
"I need to get a guilty verdict, and you're the guy to help."
I looked blankly at this mysterious man. On the outside I was calm, but on the inside, I was panicking.
"For whom?"
"Just get the verdict, okay?"
"And why should I?"
"Get ready for your boyfriend's funeral, then."
What? How did he know about this?
"... Fine. Just don't hurt him, okay?"
He put his gun down. "I knew you were smart. Trial starts in a week. Better get ready."
He left the office, and I was there with my thoughts.
I will stop at nothing to get that verdict and to save Phoenix.
