I fell in love with Pan (for) today
And he fell in love with me.

His breath tickles my skin,
And I recognise his teasing
With the cool breeze
He's blowing at me.

My back rests
Against his gnarled fingers
The boughs easily
Supporting me

The lush green carpet
Against my buttocks
Are the fur of his mound
Its velvety softeness pleasing me

I fell in love with Pan (for) today
And he fell in love with me.

Tomorrow I will worship him
Scrub clean the soot of the bark he gave
Day after I will torture him
And carve it into his likeness

I fell in love with Pan (for) today
And he fell in love with me.

Today we make love, tomorrow hate
And so the cycle repeats again
The one thing we cannot make-
Is the other go away.
