I'm a prisoner in my own home
Correction, I'm a prisoner to my head.

Drowning in my thoughts
Drowning in my misery

Prisoner to the emptiness.
Prisoner to a craving for pain.

Caged behind bars reinforced with solitude
Caged behind bars made of freshly 'bused skin.

Prisoner to my anger
Prisoner to distaste

Escape, once a fantasy;
Escape now, a childish fallacy

Prisoner to a future of spilled blood and scars
I'm officially a prisoner to my blade
