"It has been twenty years since the first person of the little village of Red Leaf went missing. At first none of the other people in the village took much notice because, the person who went missing was known to leave the village without telling anyone about it.

"It was ten years ago on this very day, two eight year old girls were found wondering the village twelve miles from Red Leaf. Both girls couldn't remember how they had gotten to the village they were found in or even what happened to the people of their own.

"It is said that both girls suffered so much trauma that they couldn't remember anything at all apart from how the basic survival knowledge . This year those two girl turned eighteen years old and they are wanting to find out what happened to the village and their families"

This was what the news report stated as hundreds of people watched the news that morning.

Today was the day it all started twenty long years since the Red Leaf village was devastated by a mysterious occurrence. No-one ever found out what happened to all the people there, the two girls that were found couldn't remember it.

It wasn't just the village population of 250 that went missing over twenty years, but no-one knows how many people went missing in total  because no-one knew for sure, and the girls can't remember what happened.

People from outside the village went missing, people who went to look for the missing villagers went missing themselves people who just drove through the village never came out the other end. over these past twenty years it has been recorded that over one thousand people might have gone missing in and around the village area.

People who went near the village but not over the border of were the village started have said to see lights on in the houses, car headlights, heard the laughter of children, the sounds of parents shouting for them to come inside.

What most people hear though when they stand outside the boundaries of the village, is screams, horrid long screams that sound inhuman, like a banshee calling to say its found it's pray.

Like some sort of monster was starting it's hunt. Many people say they see a ghost of some sort of distorted figure looming in the woods near the village. Not to close to be seen by them fully, but not to far away to not be seen.

Many people are either to scared to look at the form they see out the corner of their eye, or to scared to stop looking at it in case it comes to them when they look away and takes them.

That is what most of the people I have spoke to about it have said to me.

Now back to the story at hand, like the news report stated before those two girls have turned eighteen. They want to find out what happened because there memories have been coming back to them.

Very very slowly like a tap dripping slowly filling up and empty glass.

Nightmares of screaming and blood nothing more than that just nightmares. At first darkness and a horrid scream and then blood and silence nothing else ever happens in these nightmares. Just a never ending darkness.

The girls were ready to set of too the village to investigate what had happened all those years ago, well that was until they got that letter and started getting second thoughts the week before they were set to leave.

It was an old letter the paper turned yellow with age, the ink blotchy on the paper, like the ink from a quill, the paper torn from been folded and unfolded, what freaked them out the most was the envelope, it was new and the ink was from a pen not a quill.

What were the girls to do? Go to the village after the letter came to them and find out what happened in their past? Or where they going to stay away scared of some letter? Did they really want to find out their past at the risk of going missing or been killed when they got out ten years before?

They made a choice they had to find out what really happened to the village they lived in they had to find out everything that happened and maybe then the nightmares would stop.

They needed to find out what had happened at the village, because the nightmares were slowly turning them insane, they didn't want to sleep because of the horrid scream and they didn't want to eat because all they could see was the blood.

They needed to find out what happened to save themselves.
