Chapter 23

3rd P.O.V

The party was still going on as people know mexicans can go a whole night with partying. Emanuel the oldest of the pimentel brothers was on his way to the living room when he heard screaming from the driveway. He got a bad feeling in his gut and went to go check what was going.

Not even taking one step out of the house he sees his younger brother on top of victor punching him while theres a body passed out on the floor. It doesnt even take him a millisecond to realize that was saraiths body on the floor 

emanuel doesnt hesitate and runs towards the girl he picks her up already knowing what mustve happened to her he is going to go lay her down 

"AYE" he yells trying to get the guys attention 

"AYE YOU DUMBASSES" he yells again with a angry tone 

victor hears the yell and looks as he sees emanuel standing there holding an unconscious sara 

"SARA" victor yells as chokes out blood thats running down his nose 

Joels eyes widened to what he said and looks at the direction to see the same thing 

Joel immediately gets up and runs to emanuel 

"what happened to her" he asks worriedly he feels his heart drop to his stomach

"she had an anxiety attack and my guess was thanks to you" emanuel responded mad

"THANKS TO ME IF IT WASNT FOR HIM TRYING TO-" joel started to ramble but got cut off by his brother 

"NO DONT TRY TO DEFEND YOURSELF GO HOME JOEL WE'LL TALK LATER"emanuel yells at him as joel turns around stomps like a little kid 

"uhh"they hear a groan as victor tries to get up from the gorund but failing 

"Wait here vic" emanuel says as he runs inside placing saraith on the couch and heading back to to help victor wrapping his hand around victors waist helping him inside 

"WHAT HAPPENED" emanuel sees his mom and brothers standing in the hallway most likely leaving back home 

"your son happened" emanuel says dragging victor to the nearest bathroom to get him cleaned up 

"joel did this"patricia says as she sees a bloody victor feeling guilty for her sons action 

emanuel nods as he searches the drawers for a first aid kit 

"ma can you ask my comadre where the first aid kit is" emanuel says getting a towel with warm water to clean the cuts on victors lip 

patricia and gabo run to find amelia while emanuel and israel clean victors wounds 

"so what happened" emanuel asks cleaning the blood

"so sara and i were talking when all of a sudden your brother comes and starts saying things than punches me i think he was drunk" victor explains as he winces when the water touch the wound 

"Why would he do that" emanuel asks 

"isnt it obvious hes inlove with her"victor says realizing what he said making his heart break

"thats still not a good enough reason for him to hurt you"emanuel says

"QUE TE PASO (what happened to you)" amelia says as she sees victor sitting on the toilet getting his wounds clean

victor explains what happened again they apply hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol on his cuts 

"OW" he yelps as he feels the burning sensation form

"the good thing is that the cuts arent deep" amelia says inspecting them 

after applying ointment and bandaids victor was good to go

"im so so deeply sorry mijo for joels actions idk what has gotten into him" patricia says as he looks sadly at victor 

"its okay ms.pimentel i understand why he would do it" victor says looking at saraith 

"well we are gonna get going" patricia says as she walks with her boys outside 

"im going to take sara upstairs"  victor tells amelia as he goes and picks up saraith feeling a pain throughout his body 

"get some rest we have a big day tomorrow" amelia says giving her younger son figure a kiss on his temple and heads towards the party 

victor walks up the stairs with difficulty but makes it and lays saraith on her bed the bobby pins and things on her head. 

Saraith slowly shifts as she gains conscious 

"Hey hey i got you"victor says as he removes her tiara 

Saraith slowly flutters her eyes open to see victor there with band-aids covering his face 

"oh my god youre alive" saraith says as she hugs victor slowly making him grown

"sorry" she lets go as she realizes she hurt him a little 

"its okay amor"victor says sitting down next to her 

Sara sits up and examines his face

"you sure youre okay" she asks as she cups his face gently 

victor nods placing his hand on top of hers 

" i swear the minute i see joel hes going to-" sara began talking but got cut off 

"hey,hey, calm down. dont worry im fine"victor smiles at her 

sara just nods but shes still going to slap joel she thought 

"come on lets get some sleep" victor says taking off his shirt and taking off his jeans only wearing a pair of basketball shorts 

sara gets up and goes to change into an ovesized sweater wearing spandex under

they lay down a fall asleep quickly

meanwhile at the pimentel house

the chaos began as soon as emanuel got home 

yelling and words were exchanged as joel and emanuel we're arguing 

the cnco guys saw what was going on and  were lost when they were inside the house so immediately they all go back outside and wait for things to cool down but they all ended up sleeping outside 

"HE WAS TAKING HER AWAY" joel yells as tears run down his eyes

"No he wasnt and shes not a object joel"emanuel tried calming down trying to reason with him 

"JOEL LISTEN TO ME YOURE GOING TO APOLOGIZE TO SARAITH AND VICTOR" patricia yelled mad at her son 

"BUT"joel said 

"NO BUTS START ACTING LIKE A YOUNG MAN AND NOT A LITTLE KID SARAITH IS NOT AN OBJECT SHE DOESNT BELONG TO NOBODY" Patricia made herself clear 

joel just sits down  and tries to think what he did wrong
