Bang!

I close my car door, the sound hardly reaching my ears as it was muffled by the walls in the mansion. "Hunter?" I questioned out loud, walking away from my car over towards the front door.
I notice the door was slightly open. I look around, looking for a car that didn't belong. But I didn't see any, I open the door slowly.
Trying not to make a single noise, I walked through the doorway. Looking around, my phone on speed dial, ready to call the police.
"Hunter?" I called out silently. I knew it was most likely a dumb move but... I have to know where he is in this large house.
I look in the living room, he's usually there playing video games or doing work. But there was no one there. I walk into the kitchen then froze in place, my eyes widening in shock.
There laying on the cold ground was Hunter, a pool of blood surround him. "Hunter." I mumbled out, slowly walking to his side. I crouched down looking into his glazed eyes in shock. "Hunter. Wake up." I said softly, giving him a small shake.
Then I snapped out of my dazed state, "Hunter!" I screamed, placing my hands on his wound, applying pressure. When the wound showed no promise I called the 911.
"Hello 911, what is your emergency?" A man asked on the other end.
"Yes... my brother he's been shot. There is a lot of blood." I said with a shudder.
"Alright can you tell me your location?" The man asked calmly.
"Yes, it's 17, Lake Avenue." I said quickly, applying more pressure onto his wound.
"Alright, the police and ambulance is on their way. Please just sit tight and make sure to put pressure on the wound." The man said, I thanked him then hung up.
The police and ambulance arrive around thirty minutes later, the paramedics immediately taking over and the cops begin to question me what happened.
They searched the entire house just in case the perpetrator was still here but... they got nothing.
I went to the hospital with my brother, sitting down on one of the benches, looking down at my blood covered hands. I felt so ... dirty and sticky.
I look up towards my brother, showing almost no signs of life except closing his eyes on his own. Even I thought he was dead when I first saw him.
We arrived to the hospital, the paramedics rushing him to the emergency room. The nurses outside guided me to the lobby.
"Any other family members or friends we should call to inform them of this even?" The nurse asked.
"Yes his friend Benjamin Powel and our mother Eliza (L/N)." I told her, my monotone returning.
The nurse nodded before asking, "Do you want anything? Water? A snack?"
I shook my head, "No I'm not hungry but thank you." She nodded then made her way over to the front counter.
I become lost in thought, looking back down at my bloody hands. I then look past them, towards my legs and shorts. I could only see red... just red. I just sat there, frozen, staring at the red.
"(Y/N)!" I heard someone shout, I look up to see Benjamin running towards me, his eyes welling up with tears. "Where is he!? What happened!?" He questioned, his tone sounding desperate.
"He's been shot, I was just at the store a few moments ago ... I came back and he was just..." I trailed off, looking back down at my hands.
"Where is he now!?" He asked, his voice raising.
"They took him into surgery." I answered, not looking up.
"Oh god." He mumbled, sitting down next to me. "How could this all happen?" He said, burying his head in his hands.
He then glanced over at me, his eyes widened in horror. "(Y/N) are you hurt!?" He questioned, beginning to look me over.
"No, this is all Hunter's blood." I informed him.
"Oh god... he lost that much? Geezus your covered in it." He mumbled out. "How about you go wash up? I can stay here and-"
"No, I'm going to sit here and wait till I hear he is ok." I said, slapping his hand off my shoulder gently.
"Where is my son!?" A familiar voice demanded.
"Ma'am please he is in surgery at the moment. You can wait over there in the lobby with your da-"
"I want to see him! Now!" I look up to see my mother growling at one of the clerks.
"Eliza, they said he's in surgery we can't see him yet." Mr. Kilo said placing a hand on his shoulder. Aunt Patricia lightly tugged my mother away from the counter. Mary was by them as well, except she seemed to be looking around the lobby.
Her eyes landed on me immediately, she jogged over to me kneeling down slightly to look at me. Patricia, Kilo, and my mother followed behind her.
"Are you ok?" Mary asked, taking a hand onto my cheek looking me over.
"Yeah I'm fine." I answered in my famous monotone, though a hint of fear sparkled in my red orbs.
"Fine? Fine!?" My mother exclaimed, shoving her way through the other two.
"Eliza." Patricia grabbed onto my mother's arms, but she yanked it free.
"Your brother got shot for f*&@$ sake! And your just fine!?" My mother yelled, glaring down at me.
"Eliza knock it off." Kilo said gently, placing a hand on my mother's shoulder to try and calm her.
My mother shrug off his hand, "You're a monster. You know that! I can't believe I ever gave birth to you!"
"Hey that's enough!" Patricia stepped in, standing in between me and mother.
My mother simply scoffed, then walked off to sit down a couple of seats down from me.
"Are you ok sweetly? Do you need to go get cleaned up?" Patricia asked turning to me, giving me a worried look.
"I'm fine Patricia, and I want to wait to make sure he's alright." I told her.
"Mom, I can watch over her. Go take care of Aunt Eliza." Mary told her mother. Patricia nodded then walked over towards her sister.
Mary sat down next to me saying, "He'll be alright, I promise."
"Don't make a promise you can't keep." I told her, simply glancing before turning back to Benjamin who was beginning to tap his foot.
We waited for the longest hour of our entire lives before a doctor came out along with some nurses. He walked towards us and we all stood. I crossed my fingers, hoping it was good news.
"I'm sorry but... he didn't survive the surgery." He told us.
Everyone gasped, besides me, my mother covered her mouth and tears begin to stream down her cheeks. Patricia and Kilo were holding her, beginning to cry as well.
"No, no, no, no." Benjamin said, sitting back down in his seat. Mary went to comfort him, I stood there frozen.
"We're very sorry we tried all we can." He said, before leaving along with the nurses.
I didn't feel anything... no sadness ... no anger ... nothing. I was numb, stuck in a sort of trance.
Even his funeral I didn't shed a tear, still stuck in my little trance, unable to even fake an emotion. I was just stuck, frozen, like a deer in headlights. It felt like it was all a bad dream... but it was real.
Next thing I knew, I was signing papers to take over my brothers business, according to his wishes. If I disagreed, my mother would've gotten it and I knew she would take advantage of it.
It wasn't till Benjamin started visiting again, I woke up.
Britain's POV
Soviet seemed to snap out of his rage fit as soon as Reich and America left. I couldn't help but feel guilty, I should've help Russia defend (Y/N). Maybe then she wouldn't have left.
Even the thought of not having her around broke my heart. "We still can't trust her." Soviet mumbled lowly.
"Yes we can." I intervened, crossing my arms. "So what if she kept a secret, we all keep secrets even from each other." I said. Everyone in the room, including North seemed to nod slowly in agreement.
"And what if she was lying?" Soviet questioned.
"No one can fake a blush, not without makeup anyway." Russia put in.
Soviet let out a shaky sigh, "What have I done?"

Bang!

"That sounded like-"
"A gunshot." North finished his brother's sentence. He ran out the front door, I followed behind him. His eyes widened in horror, "South call 911!" He called out before running out there.
I was confused... till I saw the sight myself. My eyes widened in horror, "No."
(Y/N)'s POV
The sky was still blue, more blue than it ever seemed to be in my entire life. The birds were silent after the horrible loud sound.
The color red was all I could see, just like before. Except this time is a little different.
I was able to pull the gun towards me, down towards the guard. I wasn't... fast enough. I couldn't move out of the way in time.
I was looking down seeing the gun point towards my gut, my shirt was already beginning to turn blood red.
Ryder backed away in shock, fear sparkling in his eyes. I placed my hand over the wound, I felt pain ... so much pain but... I just couldn't scream out I felt... tired.
I applied pressure to the wound as I collapsed to my knees. "No, no, no, no. (Y/N)! Stay with me! Keep your eyes open you hear!" America shout, taking me into his arms before I could fall backwards onto the ground.
Ryder ran off, bolting down the driveway. I look over to see Reich, his eyes locked on mine, he seemed frozen in place.
I coughed, blood streaming out of the corners of my mouth. America held me close to him, using one of his hands to apply pressure on the wound.
"South call 911!" I heard a voice shout. Then I notice someone come on my other side. I look over to see Reich, "Where is he hit?"
He sounded ... terrified, his hands were shaking and his eyes full of fear. "I'm the gut, I'm not sure where." America answered.
I couldn't hear what else was going on as my hearing begin to go out, along with my vision. It was so ... tiring to keep my eyes open.
I tried to blink away the darkness, but it kept pulling me in. Begging me to just let myself go but... I gotta keep my eyes open.
"(Y/N)! Hey! Stay with me ok!" I heard America say, shaking me a little. My sight returned slightly along with my hearing. Pain shot up through my side.
I winced visibly, "The adrenaline is beginning to wear off." I hear North comment.
My eyelids were becoming heavy, I could feel the warmth of my blood spreading across my shirt, sticking to my skin. I could even feel it pool around me.
"D@mn it! She won't stop bleeding!" America growled.
"Here." I heard Britain say, handing America a towel. America snatched out of his hands, before placing it on my wound.
I groaned, the pain increasing, my eye lids becoming heavier. Darkness seemed much more welcoming now.
"(Y/N)! Stay awake! (Y/N)! (Y-"
I couldn't hear his words anymore as darkness consumed, allowing myself to fall into the endless darkness.
??? POV
"You shot her!?" I questioned, standing up from my seat and slamming my hands down on my desk.
"I didn't mean to.. s-She just yanked my gun and-"
"I don't want to hear excuses! You were supposed to threaten her not kill her!" I growled.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to happen." Ryder said, holding his hands up in a surrender like way.
"If my daughter dies... you are to blame." I growled, slipping out something from on of my drawers.
"It won't happen again I swear!" Ryder said quickly.
"Oh I know it won't." I said.

Bang!

"Because you would be dead." I finished, as Ryder's body fell to the floor, limb. One of my guards came into the room. "Discard his body. Make it look like an accident." I ordered, putting my gun down.
"Yes ma'am." The guard said, dragging Ryder's body away. "And have someone clean up this mess!" I called out after him.
"So that plan failed... time for plan B." I mumbled to myself, looking down at a flash drive that sat by my computer.
