"Mom, why do I have to go to the therapist? Is there something wrong with me?" I asked, keeping a hold of my older brothers hand with my twelve year old hands.
My mother bent down in front of me, "Sweetie... you aren't what people call normal. We are just going to have a doctor look at you. That's all."
I simply nodded my head, looking up at my older brother who gave me a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, I doubt there is anything wrong with you. You seem normal to me!" He said cheerfully.
I didn't return the smile... I couldn't even if I wanted to. I didn't ... feel anything. I simply start looking around as my mother stood up taking my other hand. "Come along, let's wait for the doctor to enter." She said, taking us to empty chairs at the far corner of the room.
"Sis look there are toys here! C'mon let's go play!" He said, dragging me away from my mother.
She smiled at the two of us, before picking up a magazine from the side table next to her. I played with my brother... but he did most of the talking as we played with the action figures. I played as the hero, while he played as the villain.
"You will never beat me Nightmare! For I ... Razor Whip will destroy this city. Mwa hahahaha!" He laughed evilly.
He then looked at me expectantly, I blinked a few times unsure what to do. "Go on, sat that you will stop me no matter what the cost." He whispered.
I nodded saying in a monotone voice, "I shall stop you Razor Whip not matter what the cost."
He smiled, "There you go! Great job!"
Before we could continue further I heard my name being called by my mother. "(Y/N), c'mon dear the doctor wants to see you." My mother said softly, standing next to a man wearing a sort of lab coat next to a girl looking about in her late teenage years wearing something similar.
I stood up and walked over to my mother obediently. "This is her. My beautiful daughter." My mother said with a smile, her blue eyes sparkling with pride.
"Huh... she has her fathers hair yet she got her bright red eyes from your side of the family. She is quiet unique, we don't have anyone else with red eyes in the family do we?" The man asked, looking at me then to my mother.
"Not that I know of no." She answered.
"Mommy who is he?" I asked, tugging on her velvet shirt.
"He is your uncle sweetie, Aunt Patricia's husband Mr. Koli." My mother answered, gesturing towards the man. "Standing next to him is Mary, his daughter. They will be your doctors today."
"Hello, nice to meet you (Y/N)!" The girl said cheerfully, holding out her hand.
"Nice to meet you too." I replied, shaking her hand.
"Come follow us to our office." Mr. Koli said, gesturing for me to follow him and Mary. They sat me down by the desk, asking me questions and taking notes whenever I answer. They let me play with some puppets but ... I wasn't creative making stories like my brother so I just sat there bored. I even asked if my brother could some in here and play with me, but they refused.
Then they made me do a sort of worksheet on the things that I like in thirty minutes. I just put down the foods and drinks that taste good. I included my brother, father, and mother in there as well. Then I was done.
They asked a few more questions, mostly relating to scenarios, asking what I do in the situation. In answer each truthfully, not thinking anything of it.
Then they called my mom and brother into the room.
"We did some tests and ... she has a mental disorder." Mr. Koli said with a sad look.
My mother glanced over at me then back at the doctor. "I don't understand? What type of mental disorder? Is it serious?" She asks in a worried tone.
My brother took my hand in his, I was sitting on my mother's lap while he was sitting in the empty chair.
"No it's not serious... but can't really be curable." Mary stated, leaning back against the wall.
"Can't she take pills or something?" My mother questioned, slowly becoming alarmed.
"I'm afraid not Eliza... she has something called sociopathy, which is a disorder on the lack of emotions. There is no cure, she either grows out of it or she stays like this the rest of her life. Either way it won't stop her from living or making a life of her own." He informed us.
"But... she won't ever smile? Have friends?" My mother asked horrified.
"There might be a possibility for her being able to smile but friends however ... I don't know." He said with a sigh.
"Your wrong! She has friends! She has me and Benjamin right (Y/N)?" My brother asked, sounding desperate.
I simply nodded. He then had a glint of determination in his gaze, "Don't worry little sis, I'll find a way to make you smile!"
We talked a little more to the doctor before leaving. I tried taking my mother's hand but he kept her hand away from me a shadow casting over her face.
"Mom?" My brother asked, grabbing hold of my hand, the one I tried to hold my mother with. She didn't answer, instead she said, "C'mon let's go home."
That day, everything changes. And as a little girl who couldn't understand emotions... I never understood why. Until now... she saw me as broken.
*********
I drove the van down the street heading towards the therapy center. When I told the countries about it they seemed suspicious at first, all except Russia of course. When I told them my mom scheduled the meeting and my therapist was my cousin, they had no objections and suspicions were lifted instantly.
I parked in the parking lot, Russia parking in the empty spot next to me. I stepped out of the car, everyone following behind.
'Remember (Y/N)... you have to tell Mary that only Russia knows your a sociopath.' I thought, shutting the car door behind me.
I walk into the building, everyone following behind. Before I could even reach the lady at the desk Mary called out, "(Y/N) over here!"
I walk over to her, the countries following behind. "How do you want to do this?" I asked,
Leaning on one leg.
"I'll take them in one by one." Mary said with a smile.
I turn to them, "Guys this is Mary, Mary Guys." I Said gesturing to her then to them.
"Nice to meet you all! Which one of you is Russia?" She asks, getting straight to the point.
The group dispersed revealing Russia. We walked over, "I am miss." She smiled, gesturing for her to follow him.
Russia nodded, following Mary over to her office.
Russia's POV
I followed Mary into her office. "You can sit here." She said, gesturing towards one of the seats in front of her desk. She sat in the seat behind the desk.
"So, how long have you know (Y/N)?" She asked, taking out a notepad.
"Um for at least a couple of months I think." I answered, unsure. All I know is that the weather is getting colder and colder every day.
"Has she ever... smiled or blush around you or the others?" Mary asked after scribbling down my answer.
"Yes, she has many times." I answered, leaning back in the chair.
"Has she ever used her monotone around you?" She asked.
"Yes... but that was only around her mother and when she talked about her disorder." I answered truthfully.
"Ah so you know of her sociopathic mind correct?" Mary asks once more.
"Yes, she told me after telling her my secret." I answered, subconsciously fooling with the end of my sleeve.
She nodded, "I see." She then scribbled down some more notes. She then smirked, "What do you think of her? Have you ever thought of ... dating her?"
I blushed lightly, "U-um... no."
"C'mon just tell me! I won't tell anyone not even (Y/N) herself." She said excitedly.
I sigh, then mumbled out a small, "Yes."
She sequels then starts asking a load of questions. 'Why does she remind me of someone I know?' I thought, looking slightly nervous yet familiar with this type of hyper ness in shipping someone or something along those lines.
(Y/N)'s POV
It has been at least an hour or less before Russia and Mary came out of the room. Russia seemed exhausted.
I took my chance and stood up quickly. "Mary I need to tell you something." I whispered to her.
"Germany your next! Oh what is it?" Mary called out, before turning to me.
"Um well there is one t-"
"Now now dear cousin. I've got everything under control." Mary said calmly.
     "No I-"
"Welp come on Germany. Let's get these questions over with!" She interrupted me... again, pulling Germany behind the door.
Great... just great. Maybe she won't mention it... maybe... hopefully.
Soviet's POV
I looked around the lobby room, noticing everyone except my son seemed to be contemplating about something.
It was my turn as I walked past Reich who seemed to be lost in thought. I walk into the office.
"Soviet, how long have you been with (Y/N)?" She asks.
"About a couple of months I think." I answered, crossing my arms. I just want this thing to be over with.
The questions went by smoothly, but one sent my head spiraling. "How do you feel about (Y/N) being sociopathic?" She asks.
I froze, 'She's sociopathic!? Has she been faking all this time?" "Good I answered, going into deep thought.
"Alright I have all the questions I needed to ask you." She said standing up, then lead me out of the office towards the lobby.
She opened the door allowing me to walk through first, I glared at (Y/N) but she didn't seem to notice as she made a beeline for her cousin.
"All done. I approve of them. You can go now." Mary said with a smile.
(Y/N) nodded, then led us out of the building waving by to her cousin on the way out.
(Y/N)'s POV
They are acting weird... they know. She either told them or mentions it but either way they know. I don't blame Mary, she didn't know. Of course she thought they knew if they live with me. I just... I don't know why I didn't tell them.
The drive back was tense, everyone was quiet or seemed to be deep in thought. Once we reached to the house and into the living room Soviet spoke up. "You're a liar." He growled.
"I never lied." I said, keeping myself calm. Their glared... it was almost too much for me to handle. The only ones that weren't glaring were Russia, America, Reich, Poland, and Britain. The four seemed to be in deep thought while Russia seemed ready to jump in at any moment.
"How long were you faking huh? How long!?" Germany raised his voice. I forced myself not to flinch... I never heard him yell. Not ever in all their time here.
"I never ever faked an emotion. To be honest it was strange even to myself." I said calmly. Most of them seemed to look down in thought. Except for Soviet, Russia who of course is watching his father's every move, and North who glared at me with cold eyes.
"Lair!" Soviet growled, taking a step towards me as I took one small step back. "I should've learned my mistake from before. You shouldn't trust anyone."
I felt as if I was stabbed in the hurt, the pain pulsed seeming to spread. But I kept an emotional face, waiting to the right moment to explain. I cease the chance, "No... you were right to trust me. I never ever steered you wrong or lied to you."
He clenched his fist, "How am I supposed to know. Your just a emotionless monster feeding on others feeling just because you don't have any. Not to mention a spoiled little brat her mother never loved nor anyone on in her family ever cared about and would rather have her dead then follow her brother's footsteps!"
He shoved me hard, I stumbled onto the ground landing on my butt. "Dad!" Russia exclaimed, standing in between me and Soviet.
"We don't want your help anymore, especially from someone as disgusting as you." Soviet growled.
I glance up seeing everyone either looking away or glaring at me. Russia seeming to be the only one on my side. I felt as if someone took a sledge hammer and smashed my heart into a million pieces. It felt as if my world was crumbling around me.
I stood up saying in a broken tone, "Fine I'll leave. This house is for yours to use." I then walk out the front door grabbing my car keys, tears beginning to stream down my face.
I went to my car, I felt so broken... why do they have that affect on me? I ... I feel as if I need them... as if I have to be by their side yet I know I can't.
"Hello sweetheart~" I whirl around to see Ryder, pointing a gun at my head. His finger on the trigger, his lips were shaped into a smirk.
My eyes widened in horror, my hands holding up in surrender. He wouldn't do it... would he.
    "I told you I'd come for you~"
