"The heck! You cheated!" America screamed, glaring at Russia who won the fifth time in a row at Mario cart.
"I didn't cheat! Maybe you just suck!" Russia screamed back at him.
I sighed, "Are they always like this?" I look over at Germany who was sitting next to me.
"Sadly yes." Germany answered, putting the Wii controller down on the glass coffee table.
"North and South are like that too sometimes." Philippines added, gesturing to the two brothers.
As we played Call of Duty I figured out that Third Reich and Soviet Union were the parents of Germany and Russia when the two kept calling the feared countries "dad" or "father" whenever the pair pointed out how the game wasn't even accurate to real life or something along those lines. Eventually all of us got tired of their complaints and switched to Mario cart.
It was pretty obvious to me that North Korea and South Korea were brothers by the way they behaved around one another and spoke to one another.
I looked at my Apple Watch to see it was already six o'clock. "Dang, it's already dinner time?" I mumbled to myself.
Germany raised a brow and gave me a confused look. I stood up, stepping over Echo that was curled into a ball next to the couch.
I walked into the kitchen, opening the fridge. "C'mon I know I bought some. Now where is it." I said, moving some things aside in the fridge. I found two packets of meat wrapped up in a plastic bag in the back of the fridge.
I took it out, placing it on the counter. I was saving it for the family cook out that was coming up next week at my grandparents house but... oh well I'll buy more later.
I stepped out of the kitchen stepping into the living room. "Does everyone like cheeseburgers?" I asked, my voice slightly elevated to have my voice heard over the bickering between Russia and America.
Russia and America went silent, "Hell Yeah!" America chanted out, fist pumping the air above him.
Russia nodded as well as Poland. "Yep." Germany responded. "Of course." Philippines replied with a nod. "Oui!" France cheered, a bright smile on his face.
"We all do lady (Y/N)." Soviet said. I look over at him, his arms crossed and gave me a cold stare. To be honest... I don't no... I know he doesn't trust me. He makes it obvious, same with Third Reich and Poland who has been watching my every move. To me that's ok, I don't really fully trust them either, after all according to history Third Reich and Soviet Union was sort of considered evil. Mostly Third Reich though.
I smiled and nodded, walking back into the kitchen. I unwrapped the bag around the meat and opened the cabinet next to the refrigerator, grabbing a large dinner plate. I placed the plate onto the counter, opening up the first packet of ground beef.
I heard shifting behind me, I turn around to see Poland looking at me. He smiled, "Mind if I help?"
I smiled, "Sure." He walked up to my side, taking a chunk of meat and rolled it into a ball. I did the same, an awkward silence fell between us.
"You surprised me." I look over at Poland, confused. I flatten the ball of meat out into a patty, placing it down on the plate then moved on to the next chunk of meat.
"What do you mean?" I asked, watching as Poland did the same to his beef.
"I honestly expected you to freak out or kick us out just with one look at us. Especially seeing Reich, which I wouldn't blame you." Poland explained, glancing over at me.
I see now, he's trying to figure out my motive on allowing them to stay. "I honestly was surprised to see you guys just pop in but... I wouldn't have kicked you out. You guys came from a different universe, you had no where to go and how this place works." I flattened the meat in my hands. "Any normal human being would kick out a group of people from a different dimension." I joke, giggling.
"You have a point." Poland chuckled, placing another meat patty onto the plate. "Is this place really different than our universe?"
"Well for one our countries aren't people." I stated. "But no, not that different. It's just that your going to have to hide you faces from other people... also a change of clothes you stink." I giggled, wrinkling up my nose.
"Hey! I don't smell that bad... do I?" Poland asked, looking embarrassed as he paused from flattening the meat into a patty and sniffed himself.
"Must've been all that nervous sweat." I said, giggling.
"I wasn't sweating that much!" Poland protested, looking hurt. I knew he was being playful.
"Oh please, you were drench in sweat." I teased, placing the patty onto the plate.
Poland dramatically gasped, "Oh no, I must- Ah!" He screamed at the top of his lungs jumping back. He lost his footing and crashing onto the ground.
I was confused till I look down seeing Echo, she looked up at me giving me an innocent look. I couldn't help but burst out laughing.
"We heard someone yell! Is everything ok?" South Korea asked.
"Shut up (Y/N)! It isn't  funny!" Poland screamed at me. I couldn't stop laughing, he got scared of Echo twice now and all she did was rub against his leg.
"Poland... got scared... he jumped... so high!" I said in between laughs.
"Yeah... Poland gets scared easily." America said with a smirk.
"Shut up! No I don't!" Poland protested, getting up off the ground.
"Sure you do buddy." Russia said, ruffling his hair. Poland slapped Russia's hands away, glaring at him. Russia chuckled in response.
I smiled, then went back into making patties. "Hey, you don't mind if we help do you (Y/N)?" South Korea asked.
"Sure I don't mind." I answered. Russia, America, and South Korea helped me and Poland make the rest of the patties.
I then went outside through the sliding glass doors, putting the burgers on the grill. The sun was beginning to set already, I looked out into the yard seeing the tree's leaves beginning to change colors. The cool breezes flowed through my hair and across my skin, sending chills down my spine. 'It's fall already? Geez this year went by fast.' I thought.
"America get off me!" I turned around seeing America practically on top of Russia.
"Hey Poland do you hear that? I think the grass is talking!" America shouted.
Poland who was standing next to me just shook his head, I giggled in response to America's comment.
"Why you little... Get off!" Russia shoved America off him. They begin to tussle around in the grass.
"Geez those two are morons." I heard Third Reich grumble. He was sitting in the chair as the table, watching America and Russia wrestle around.
"What did you call my son?" Soviet questioned, glaring at Reich.
Reich smirked, "A moron. But I have to admit, your more of a moron than him."
"Why you-" Before Soviet could finish his sentence I shouted out, "Burgers are done!"
Dinner was actually... nice. I don't remember the last time I had other people over or anything along those lines. I smiled, happy with my choice of letting them stay here.
There arrival was unexpected but... it was a good unexpected
??? POV
I couldn't help but smirk as I looked at the article on the computer screen. 'Sister of Famous Billionaire Leading the Company to Greatness!"
"How how much I've missed you my sweet, (Y/N)" I said, smiling at the picture of a girl with silky (s/c), (h/l) (h/c) hair that fit well with her face shaper, and her gorgeous blood red eyes. "Don't worry, we'll see each other again soon."
