And it sure was. I got to all my classes on time. I even managed to do some of the math work right. So I was a bit proud of myself after that. Gym drained a lot of energy away because our beloved teacher though we should do something new for a change. So we ended up with running to the end of the hall and back again, but we weren't allowed to use our legs. With only our gifts to run to the end of the gym room and back again, which was really draining. When I had control class afterwards, I had a hard time staying on my legs. It didn't help when Thomas decided to test my powers so when he got everyone to line up in front of me and fight me. I had suppressed the killer look I wanted to send Thomas then. Thinking about it now, I still want to send him that killer look. He got everyone to fight me. How strong does he think I am? I don't even have to tell you that I got my ass kicked after all my energy had been drained away, it didn't help when I couldn't take a time-out either. Don't even get me started on the tests class I had with David, he thought it was fitting to see how much I could handle... I swear, sometimes those teachers work together to make the most draining day and then they will laugh when no one is trying to sneak out of this school at night.

This school is hardcore that's for sure. All the while Lucavarious had been talking none-stop and it was really tiring me out to degrees I didn't even know I had.

- I mean I can't just let them go then, they disobeyed me-

So you tortured them to the brink of death, but not going over and then waiting for them to beg you to kill them... if they could still speak, but then again you can read their minds, you only like the thought of seeing people suffering. I yawned as I predicted what Lucavarious would've said.

You are learning! Something in his voice made me feel proud of myself all of sudden. I could hear the smirk in his voice, and I knew he could see me grinning from ear to ear like a giant idiot.

'' so how is everything going?'' Sophie asked me as we walked over the long campus, heading to the boys dorm because my room was bigger than hers, and I owned my own room. Something she didn't. That was why we always choose my room to hang out in.

'' I am completely drained. God I swear those teachers are after me some days. 'You can't run away from a demon because it will only track you again. You have to use your powers. You have been so gifted and blah blah blah'' I mimicked their voices and Sophie laughed with me.

'' well they do drill you harder than us, but there is a reason for that, Ciale, and you know it.'' Sophie said.

I absently nodded in agreement and we continued walking in silence. We were both pretty tired. It wasn't until we walked passed a crowd of the most popular people in this school Sophie stiffened all of sudden. She breathed in and exhaled loudly, before she kept on walking.

What was up with that?

'' yeah, I dunno why she hangs out with her, but she does... unbelievable , Stacy is so not happy with, Ciale. And to top it all she hangs out with Sophie-slut, doesn't she know what she has done or are?'' one of the girl said when they thought I didn't hear them anymore. My interest suddenly picked up and I pretended I had to tie my shoelaces. Sophie stopped to, but I motioned for her to go on without me. She nodded and began walking again. Good, now I could eavesdrop on them.

I took my shoe off and pretended I looked for an annoying stone in it, meanwhile they continued to talk.

'' well, she is like the new popular leader... how did she manage to pull that off anyways?'' a girl with blond brown hair asked as she looked at her girls who was just as stunning. I guess everyone was beautiful on this school.

'' because she looks like a goddess.'' Another black haired one said, no one of them noticed me with my shoe in my hand and my eyes that were staring at them.
