27. Snoring

The alarm clock was going off. I couldn't believe it was already 6:30 in the morning. The wife was snoring behind me so I snoozed it to give us another ten minutes of shut-eye. It seemed like a matter of seconds before the alarm went off again. I could still hear my wife snoring. She rarely ever slept through two alarms but we went to bed late last night. It wouldn't be so annoying if she wasn't breathing right on the back of my neck. I reached over and shut off the alarm then grabbed my phone. My morning routine usually consists of hitting the snooze button, reading email and checking the front page of Reddit. I noticed I had a text. It was from my wife.

"Left for work early, love you, see you tonight."
