26. Creak

I've heard my friends complaining about their annoying roommates before they stayed up too late, they were messy,etc. The worst might have been a friend of mine who complained of how she was kept up every night by the creaking of her roommate's loft bed as she made love to whatever guy she had brought home that night. I understand her troubles. I've been kept up almost every night by the creaking of my roommate's bed as well-even though she's alone in her bed, she simply will never lay still for more than five minutes! And tonight is no different-I can't close my eyes for more than five minutes without being disturbed by the creaking and squeaking of that mattress as she tosses and turns. The only problem is, I just remembered that my roommate went home yesterday for the weekend.
