Circumference of Peace
by sloanranger
We are in the center,
the first part of the storm, gone.
We enter
into peace...
my gladdened heart
so full - joy
that will not cease.
Lying here beside you,
knowing at last
that you have cast
your lot with mine;
my trembling fingers,
bidden now -
to touch and linger.
Oh, sweet peace,
I must give you
Goodbye, a moment
as my love
reaches deep
into
the wellspring
of my passion.
