Me and Aaron have been going really good he had really been showing me that I can trust him. We haven't had sex yet cause I told him I wasn't ready and that I wanted my first time to be special and he understood. Markus came back a few weeks ago and told me that his Ma pulled through just like I knew she would. Jalen is showing And she finds out what she is having in a couple of weeks and i can't wait. But now me, Aaron, Candy, Taliyah, Markus, Jalen, Caleb, and Monea are just sitting around talking at Markus house.
"So Aaron how old are you cause we never really got to talk to you" Monea said
"I'm 19" he said
"Oh and you don't mind dating someone younger than you" Candy said
"No it ain't like she 15 and I'm 19 she 17 I'm just two years older than her" he said
"Yea true but how y'all meet anyway" Candy said
"Damn candy is this 21 questions" Markus said
"Shit I just want to know is that to much" she said
I just rolled my eyes my phone started ringing and its from the hospital
"Hey y'all ill be right back" I said going to my room
Me- hello
???- Ummm yes this is Kathy from St. Francis Hospital
Me- The hospital how did you get my number
Kathy- we found it in the pocket of a lady that was brought in a couple hours ago
I froze the first thing that popped up in my mind is my Mama
Me- Umm is the lady ok
Kathy- not really she passed a few hours ago
When she said that I dropped the phone I couldn't breath I felt like I was about to pass out I just hope and pray that it's not my mama
Kathy- Hello
Me- ummm sorry is there anyway I can come down and see the person
Kathy- yes that would be great because if nobody comes to claim the body in 24 hours she would be cremated
Me- ok ill be there
I hung up the phone trying to let what I just heard sink in I got myself together before going back in the living room
"Markus" I said
"Huh" he said
"Can you take me to the hospital" I asked
"What's wrong" he said
"I don't know right now but can you take me it's urgent" I said getting my phone and wallet
"Yea come on" he said
"Ashanti what's going on" Aaron asked
"I don't know DAMN didn't I just say that" I said walking out the house leaving everybody clueless
Markus Pov
I don't know what's going on but it must be something serious. I got in the car and she was already buckled up.
"What's going on" I asked
"I got a call from the hospital saying that they found my number in a ladies shirt" she said her voice cracking
"And what that got to do with" I said confused
"The lady is dead Markus!! and I think it might be my mama" she said the last part so low I Barely heard her
