Chapter 25

Ashanti Pov

5 months later

"Babe" I yelled from Up stairs my feet we're swollen and I wanted him to come rub them for me

"What" he said walking in the room with a popsicle in his mouth. " Can you come rub my feet please" I said

He sat down on the bed and started rubbing my feet. Things had actually been going good for me and everybody else Markus got a girlfriend and they got a baby on the way, Monae and Brian moved in together and they are expecting and Jalen and Caleb are engaged Everybody is Happy.

Today Is my baby shower and I'm so excited we found out what we are having today and I can't wait because he swear we having a girl and I'm trying to tell him that we having a boy so I'm really ready to prove to him that I was right.

"Babe you suppose to be getting ready the baby shower goin be starting soon" he said still rubbing my feet

"I know but with this big stomach I can't get up" I said texting Monae seeing if everything was going good with the set up

"Why you didn't just ask me for help lazy" he said smacking my legs

"I was but see I got comfortable and didn't really wanna move so I just laid here" I said getting more comfortable on the bed

He went in the closet and got the outfit I was going to wear to the baby shower. We wanted the sex of the baby to be a surprise so i brought jalen with me when we found out because her and monae wanted to throw me a baby shower so I was like y'all can just surprise me with the baby shower and the sex of the baby.

"Babe you excited to find out what we having" I asked

"Yea but do I have to go like can't you just call me when you find out or something cause i really don't want to be around all these females" he said looking at me all sad

"Well I'm sorry boo but you going now help me up off this bed so I can get ready"

He helped me up and I went in the bathroom and did my hygiene stuff I had to make it quick cause my cousin would be here any minute and she hate to be late and I really don't feel like getting cussed out today

"Damn" I heard Aaron say

"What" I said looking up at him

"You look good baby" he said coming up behind me helping me put on my necklace

After a while we were both dressed and on our way to the venue. We had to stop a couple of times so I could use the bathroom I swear I can't go ten min without using the bathroom I can't wait to have this baby I swear. When we got to the venue everything was set up so pretty Jalen and Monae really did there thing with this one.

"Y'all this is so pretty" I said on the verge of tears, the whole place was perfect all my friends were here even markus with his little girlfriend and she has started to show. I walked around speaking to everybody thanking them for coming and things then Jalen announced that we were about to get started. We played games, and talked and laughed and we ate some good food who ever they got to cook did they thing I swear. I finally got over to markus and his girlfriend when everything settled down a little. His little girlfriend don't like me that much cause she think that me and Markus are to close but I told her im not going anywhere.

"Hey bestfriend I missed you" i said hugging him

"I missed you too" he said

"thanks for coming" I said

"You know I wasn't going to miss this for the world " he said

"Yea I know" I said sitting down in a chair

"But aye we need to talk" he said getting all serious. I gave him my full attention because by the look on his face I knew I wasn't going to like what he was about to say. " About What?"

He took a deep breath " I invited your dad"

"Nigga I told you not to" jaylin said hitting him upside his head

"I know but I figured yall need to work things out" he said looking at me

" Markus that's not your decision to make it's mine and my decision was that I didn't want anything to do with that bastard" I said standing up

"Oh is that right" A man's voice said from behind me. I turned around to come face to face with the one person I didn't plan on seeing today

"Yea that's right now can you please leave because you are not welcome here" I said with a disgust look on my face

"Yea I'll leave but you know what you are just like your worthless ass mama
was" He said with so much hate in his voice

I don't know what came over me but after those words left his mouth I couldn't do nothing but stand there and after a while I felt the tears streaming down my face

"Fuck you bitch" I said right before I slapped him across his ugly ass face. I walked out the venue I wish I wasn't pregnant cause I would of fucked him up bringing up my mama but that's what I got Aaron and Markus for and by the sound of daddy dearest getting his ass beat real good.

After everybody got Aaron and Markus settled down and the devil left the baby shower went on.

"Come on yall let's cut the cake" Monae said

We all gathered around the cake and i cut the cake and inside it said its a BOY!!!!!!!!

"Haha I told you I told you" I said all In his face

"OK OK" he said with a smile on his face. " I'm happy either way I just want a healthy baby" he said kissing my lips

After everybody got a piece of cake We were all sitting down at the table talking and laughing just having a good time.

"So have you picked out a name yet" Monae asked

" Yea i found one that i really like but I don't know if Aaron is going to like it or not."

"Well what did you come up with" she asked

" well I only have the first name but I was thinking about Messiah what do you think?" I asked

" I like it" she said with a smile on her face

Before I could say something else Aaron came over

"Bae you ready to go?" He asked

"Yea give me a minute" I said

"OK I'll be in the car" he said he thanked everybody for coming and gave jalen and Monae a hug before him and markus starting putting all the baby stuff in the car

"But girls I want to thank y'all so much for putting this together y'all did a wonderful job I love y'all so much" I said hugging them

"Yea Yea we love you to" they both said then we all busted out laughing

I said my goodbyes and thank yous to everybody before I went and got in the car.

"You ready" he asked

"Yea let's go" I said putting on my seat belt

We rode in a peaceful silence by the time we got home I had took me a nap and instead of Aaron waking me up when we got home he just carried me up the stairs. We striped out our clothes and Me and my favorite two boys went to bed.
