<P class=MsoNormal>We hear about AIDS and we pity the people.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>We say that they put themselves in that position.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>We scorn them.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>We say we care, but caring is hearing, sharing and being there.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal> </P>
<P class=MsoNormal>So who are we to judge?</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>For they are still who the once were.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>Only more fragile, susceptible to hurt</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>And yet we hurt them by rejection.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal> </P>
<P class=MsoNormal>Are we Gods in today's society?</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>Are we better than anyone else?</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>Who are we to say who is accepted?</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>This could happen to anyone.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal> </P>
<P class=MsoNormal>People, Caucasian, African, European, Indian, Chinese</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>Are people</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>People, tall, short, young, old,</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>Are people</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>So why are people with AIDS different?</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>They're not.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>People suffering are not lesser people than us.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>They are stronger because they handle what we can never do.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>They live through pain every day.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>People suffering are people too.</P>
