It Doesn't Hurt Any Less

I seem to have forgiven you

But appearances can be deceiving

I seem to be okay with it

But you keep remindong me

And it doesn't hurt any less.

Because if you have a wound

You should let it heal naturally

You don't put salt in it

Doing that

Doesn't make it hurt any less.

I know that I should forgive and forget

Then forget the things I forgave

But if you keep saying you're sorry

Obviously I won't forget

Then I realise

It doesn't hurt any less.

It doesn't hurt any less

If you do it all again

It doesn't hurt any less

If you say you're sorry

Apologizing doesn't help

Just reminds me of what you did.

It doesn't hurt any less

If you say you didn't do

The thing I know you did

Then you blame it on someone else.

It doesn't hurt any less

It just doesn't.
