Looking In A Broken Mirror

You say I'm indecisive

I'm confused, intolerable

I'm perfectly inconclusive

I count 1.

You say I'm stupid

I'm foolish, uncontrollable

I'm terribly frightening

I count 2.

You say there's anywhere you'd rather be

Than with me

Because I annoy you to death

I count 3, 4, 5.

All these years I have been counting the cracks

And I look in a broken mirror

And see not my reflection

But yours

For you I see

7 years bad luck

None for me

Because my mirror can heal

What you say bounces

Right back at you

And every insult you heap on me

Reflected back to you

Because I bought my mirror

From heaven

You bought yours

From hell

And that is why cracks intended for me backfired

And broke your mirror instead.
