Untouchable

1 secret is slowly revealed (Shen)

Hearing my aunt yelling, I rushed down almost colliding with Mr C that was rushing in from the kitchen. We both bend down to help.  I felt my heartbeat beating faster, seeing him like that. Mr C toke a look, and said he was breathing but asked me to call the ambulance right away. So I did. My aunt was crying, and holding him dearly. Heard her mumble 

"thought things was better for you now, thought they stopped bothering you. "  hearing this got me curious on what she was talking about. Was she talking about R4?.  

The ambulance came pretty quick, and my aunt went with them, and Mr C and I drove after them.  I kept telling myself I was there for my aunt, not him, but my heart was saying something different.  He was taken to the ER and was going through surgery. We sat there waiting , for something feeling like eternity.  Suddenly this woman came, running, her make up was a mess probably from the tears, she ran straight into my aunts arms. I am assuming it was his mother. 

Images of him all bloody, kept flashing in my head. I should feel good about this, I wanted him hurt, he deserve it, but why am I getting angry?.  

At last he was out of surgery and they were transporting him to his room, and we tagged along.  I noticed that he was sent to VVIP section right away. That is weird, thought he was under poor status.   This is for very very high up people, so why was Zhao here

As we all was in the room, just waiting for the doctor to come with any information, the room was dead quiet. Mr C went outside to make calls to figure stuff out.  And I had to stop myself to ask, why am I even here. I just could not leave for some reason. 

Doctor came in and told us, he was stable but, he had a lot of internal injuries and that he had taken a lot of blows towards his head, so we had to wait and see his mental state when he woke up.  It was first then, his mom noticed I was in the room, and she looked at me for a while and had this strange look, before my aunt nudge her, and she greeted me.  I politely greeted her back, and she went to sit beside Zhao.  But the look she gave me, lingered. 

Mr C came to pull me out to talk, 

"what did you find out ?" I asked 

"He used to have this ban, a ban that forbid the R4 to touch him, but it got lifted today" 

"who put the ban, and why was it lifted?" I asked a bit lost 

"his father, and it got lifted because Zhao asked for it" 

"Why???" I almost yelled. 

"I don't know why yet, but from what I gathered around school, R4 hated Zhao because of that ban, so they always harassed his friends or people around him, maybe " Mr C paused, and looked down, I looked at him

"go on.."

"Maybe because of the group project , he felt forced to get it removed to...keep the group safe?" 

I closed my eyes, its so much going on, and I feel like I m just getting more and more questions instead of answers.  I just nodded and sat down on a chair. Mr C excused himself to take more calls to dig for more information. 

I kept thinking, why would he want it lifted, not like he cared about anyone in the group, he did not even want to know our names. This makes no sense. I was in my own thoughts when his mom came out of the room, on the phone she was pissed off and was yelling on the phone, not caring she was in the hospital and people were looking, heard her say

"How dare you lift the ban! your son is in the hospital right now, and you know what can happen if he fights, but looking at his state, he did not fight back at all!"
