What is wrong with accepting me as I am? As I am with unborn songs inside of me, waiting for all the world to hear.
Why is it you will not let me be as I am? As I am a quiet girl, in a loud world.
Cannot I be me as I am? As I am hiding from the world to keep from being changed.
What is wrong with me as I am? As I am a sister, trying to right her wrongs.
Why cannot be as I am? As I am a daughter without mother or father.
Will I not be a fake if I am not as I am? As I am a girl, trying to find her place in this world.
