Do you see the girl standing there?
Ignored by those surrounding her.
Do you see the pain behind her eyes?
Pain she keeps hidden away with a smile.
Do you see the wall around her heart?
Keeping everyone at a distance.
Do you see the singer hiding Inside?
Afraid to chase her dreams and make them reality.
Do you see the writer she is?
Letting her imagination take her to another world.
Do you see everything she bottles up?
Never saying what she really feels.
Do you see the girl, she really is?
Or just the girl she shows you everyday?
