YOUR P.O.V

"I wouldn't call myself a champion, but I mean, I kind of am"

I said proudly as Ororo and Jean cheered.

"Oh come on, it's not that big of a deal"

Peter whined

"Not that big of a deal? Peter, I crushed you back there"

"All you did was win a dance-off at the arcade against me"

"Exactly. Against you."

"After seven rounds. I was surprised you weren't even tired yet"

"I wasn't gonna give up until I beat you"

"Whatever. I let you win"

"Sure you did, Speedy"

I said as I patted his shoulder. He rolled his eyes, but smiled a little.

"Y/N is good in those things, Peter. She beat me the first time she tried it. At least, I think it was the first time"

Ororo said as she glared at me

"Yes Ororo, it was my first time trying it"

"Well, than I'm not even surprised you beat Peter"

"Beat Peter in what?"

Scott said, walking into the living room, holding an XXL bag of salted popcorn.

"The dance-off machine in the arcade"

Jean said as she looked at him, confused.

"After seven tries! And I let her win"

"Keep telling yourself that, Peter"

I said as I sat down on the couch, grabbing a hand of popcorn on my way towards it.

"I did!!"

He said, glaring at me. I stuck out my tongue towards him as he gasped dramatically.

"Children"

Scott mumbled as he walked away

"Noooo! Not the popcorn!!"

Ororo said as she ran after Scott.

"There are times where I wonder why we are even friends"

Jean said as she said down beside me

"Easy question. It's because you love us. Especially Scott"

I whispered the last part. Jean turned bright red.

"How about you and Peter, huh?"

She whispered back. Now it was my time to blush.

Just then Ororo and Scott re-entered the room with an annoyed expression on their faces.

"Oh oh, what happened?"

I said as I looked at them

"Mission"

Ororo said with a sigh. We all let out a collective groan.

"Not again"

Jean said as she hit her head with a pillow.

"Hello everyone"

Charles said, wheeling in with a big smile. I glared at him as he looked at our expressions.

"Why the long faces? We're helping a mutant who needs us. Isn't that fun?"

Another collective groan was heard.

"Why can't you just send one person to get that mutant? Most of the times we don't even need a team of seven hundred people"
