today me and tate put up the christmas lights. it was fun until my brother walked in claiming he had forgotten some of his stuff in the attic.

he saw me and tate in the living room and he got really mad. he punched tate, and said

"i thought we were friends why are you hanging out with scrubber girl?!"

so i ran to my room crying. my brother hates me my mom and friends hate me, i bet tate hates me. were the thoughts going through my head.

i heard some yelling, a door slamming and footsteps.

my bed dipped and i turned around to see tate sitting there.

he pulled me into a hug and we just sat there for a while until he lifted my chin with 2 fingers, and asked me

"will you be my girlfriend alina?"

i didn't even think about my answer.

"no."
