**first day of freshman college. Chaeyoung caught a lot of attention with her boyish haircut. Specially the girls.
Chaeyoung: Nayeon's right. College girls do like short hair.

Heejin: uhm hello. Excuse me. Are you also a freshman?
Chaeyoung: oh hi. Uhm yes. Archi major.
Heejin: oh yeah. Me too. Do you know where is our first class.
Chaeyoung: i think it's English literature but I'm not sure where it is.
Heejin: mind if I tagged along. I'm Heejin by the way.
Chaeyoung: I'm Chaeyoung.
Heejin: nice haircut.
Chaeyoung: thanks
**Chaeyoung and Heejin search the campus for their first class together.
Chaeyoung: hey. I think this is it. English literature.
Heejin: oh yeah right. Let's go in.
Chaeyoung: it's a full class. Hi. Hi. Hi.
**Chaeyoung and Heejin take their sits. They talked about architectural designs and other stuff. Then a beautiful girl came in.
Chaeyoung: wow
Heejin: what? Oh so you like girls ha. I figured with the short haircut.
Chaeyoung: uhm yeah. She's so beautiful.
Heejin: try introducing yourself.
Chaeyoung: yeah sure
**but then the class professor came in
Professor: good morning class. Because today is just our first. Let's introduce ourselves one by one.
Mina: hi I'm Mina Myoui. I'm from Japan. But I've been living here in Seoul since high school.
**And the rest of the class introduce themselves.
Chaeyoung: wow.
Heejin: stopped drooling. 😂
Chaeyoung: huh? Uhm 😂
Heejin: why don't you talk to her after class.
Chaeyoung: which class. We are a block section. We all have the same class.
Heejin: oh yeah right. After the last class then.
Chaeyoung: I don't know. She's too pretty.
**first day of class has ended and right after Chaeyoung went home. She immediately called Nayeon.
Chaeyoung: guess what?
Nayeon: what?
Chaeyoung: I have a Japanese classmate. And she is so beautiful.
Nayeon: did you get her number?
Chaeyoung: uhm no.
Nayeon: why? You usually get that on the first meet
Chaeyoung: she's my classmate so I can just asked her tomorrow. Anyways hows your first day? Did you sing?
Nayeon: no idiot we don't sing on the first day. It was just introduction day.
Chaeyoung: oh same in my school.
Nayeon: miss you kid. I'm not use to going to school not seeing you.
Chaeyoung: at least you have Jeongyeon unnie with you. How is she?
Nayeon: she's good. We ate lunch together.
Chaeyoung: oh how sweet.
Nayeon: hey gotta go. Jeongyeon is on the other line. Call me tomorrow? Update me on your Japanese girl.
Chaeyoung: yeah sure. Bye.
**weeks have past and still Chaeyoung hasn't asked Mina her number. But because they are in the same class they spent most of their time together, studying and doing projects together

Yeri: hi Chaeyoung. Are you busy after class
Chaeyoung: uhm not really but I have a project to finish
Umji: wanna go for coffee?
Chaeyoung: uhm no sorry. Maybe next time.
Heejin: hey what was that about?
Chaeyoung: they're asking me to go for coffee. I declined.
Heejin: what? Why? They're beautiful. Don't you like them?
Chaeyoung: they're beautiful, yes. But like? Nope.
Heejin: oh yeah right. You like the Japanese girl. Why dont you just asked her out
Chaeyoung: just waiting for the right time. I still don't know if she likes girls or not.
Heejin: uhm I think waiting is not an option for you. Looked!

**Chaeyoung saw Mina flirting with their other classmate Eunha.
Heejin: that's the answer to your question. She does like girls. But wait! Eunha is not flirting back. And it looks like your girl is about to cry. Maybe Eunha doesn't like your girl. Come on it's the perfect time. Just go there and be the hero.
**and so Chaeyoung did approach the two girls but upon seeing Chaeyoung. Eunha left Mina.
Chaeyoung: hey 👋
Mina: hey. 😢
Chaeyoung: woah hey. What's going on are you ok?
Mina: i just made a fool of myself.
Chaeyoung: hey come here
**Chaeyoung hugged crying Mina. And for the first time Mina felt secure. Chaeyoung on the other hand couldn't hide her excitement. 😊
Chaeyoung: hey are you ok? What happened?
Mina: can we go somewhere. Milktea?
Chaeyoung: yeah uhm ok. I don't drink milktea but yeah sure.
Mina: we can go somewhere else if you want.
Chaeyoung: no it's ok.
**Mina told Chaeyoung about how Eunha rejected her. Chaeyoung just listened to her while Mina expressed her emotions.
Mina: thank you for listening to my nonsense.
Chaeyoung: it's fine. I like listening to you. Maybe next time we can go for coffee instead 😂
Mina: yeah sure. Here's my number. Call me.
