**So I wrote this last night and decided to share because it actually seems really good compared to all of my other poems.. So yeah.. It sounds more like a song in a way though o.o**
Feeling shattered inside,
Knowing I need to leave you behind,
Not wanting to let you go,
Only needing to be alone.
Hoping my problems will solve themselves,
But knowing that's impossible,
Trying to keep myself together,
Only wanting things to be the way they used to be.
Can't withstand the pain,
Need to escape,
Can't hold on any longer,
Need to leave you behind,
Can't force myself to let go,
Need you by my side.
Everything hazy, feelings gone awry,
Want you for myself,
But need to leave you behind.
Heart breaking, world fading,
So lost in this big place.
Don't want to be alone,
Don't want someone to hold.
Leaving you behind,
Hurts too much to say goodbye.
Breaking apart,
Slipping away,
Leaving you behind..
