Stumbling through life's pathway,
Trying to find my way.
Aching for acceptance and honesty,
Yet getting nothing but rejection and apologies.
Wondering if all people can be this cruel,
If all people hurt and lie.
The truth being a hard thing to face,
Holding on isn't worth it.
Maybe one day things could be different.
Even humans can change themselves.
