"Sherrie, you are going to become a great incredible when you grow up! I believe in you!" My mum exclaimed.

I laughed softly."ehehehe wahhhh!wahh!"

That's right, we are a family of Incredibles.

Mum had extraordinarily sensitive ear that could magnify a sound of a pin dropping like how the speaker magnifies the music.

Dad, he had exceptional strength and great reflexes, well, he could beat up our enemies into a pulp within a split second.

Shawn, he had the ability to stretch far. Elasticity. He could retrieve the stolen goods from far. And change his shape anytime too. He would reach out to the delicacies from the kitchen while he is still in his room. He should have been short and stout, but he changed his shape to look normal. What a cheater.

Sasha, she could turn invisible. Not invincible though, as there was also another Incredibles ability that enables you to see through anything. We call it the x-ray vision.

Our family catches thieves and beats them into a pulp, and at the same time, we retrieve the stolen goods and return them to their rightful owners.

And finally myself, who had not discovered my ability at that time, and this is the story of me on my mission to discover my ability and utilize it. My mom had always believed that I would have a special and unique ability since I was born.

"Sparkly eyes with a rainbow reflected, ohh that sight. The legend had always mentioned that if an incredible is born with those eyes, he is destined for great things, great power," Mom would always say.

"However....." The recall trailed off. I could not remember what she said, but it had made me shed tears unknowingly. Maybe it was just me being myself, not wanting to remember bad memories.

Now that I'm already 14, I have not even discovered what my ability was. Mom would always console me by saying "it's because you are special, my dear," but I could clearly tell she was growing wrinkles as each ability-less day of me passes. She was worried too, what if I did not have an ability? Well this case is not rare too, but I wouldn't accept my fate. When a non-incredible knows about the existence of Incredibles, they would have to go through the pain of losing their memories through the 'Credijudge' which was the leading party of the kind.

At the Incredibles school, everybody would flaunt their abilities, Jeanette would fly, Alex would read minds, Dykan would have x-ray vision.... Lessons were always about how to improve your ability, and for those who still did not discover it, they would attend the beginner class. As far as I was concerned, I have been staying in that level for 7 years straight already. Great.

Everyday I put myself in a dilemma on whether I should ask mum for the answer to the continuation of my memory. "However..."what? Not to mention, it was difficult to become mentally prepared for that answer which I was sure was nothing good.

At school in town, I feel like I would fit in better. A normal human mixing with normal human. Perfect. Nobody knows that I am an "incredible", or rather comes from a family of Incredibles. The stress of not having an ability did not bother me whenever I am with my human friends.
