EIGHT | KOL MIKAELSON

     Shuffling quietly through the mansion, I grabbed a duffle bag from the basement before collecting the ingredients for the spell. White candles, and two five inch tubes to put doppelgängers and her little brothers blood in. 

Going through the checklist again, I made sure I had everything before stepping out of the house and shutting the door quietly to not wake up my mother. It was nighttime now, and no one was home yet which was better. The full moon was already in the sky shining proudly, so I knew I had to hurry.

Okay, the most difficult thing to collect; the blood needed. But...where could Elena and Jeremy be at? Wait...jeez I am too stupid today. The Gilbert house, obviously. 

Shaking my head at myself, I started speeding towards the Gilbert house. I would walk; but again the night doesn't last forever. Standing on the porch of the white house, I closed my eyes and lifting my palms slightly while muttering a couple latin words. 

Chuckling at how genius I am, I made my way inside to find everything frozen. The tv was obviously on, but well, it was frozen. And so were the two beings sitting on the couch. Jackpot.

Looking around for something to stab them with, I shrugged at popped out a stake and a switchblade. I walked up towards the pair of siblings, staked Elena in the stomach; harsh but at least I didn't kill you. Putting the five inch tube under her stomach, the blood starting piling up before I had enough. Closing the tab, I got the last one and moved towards Jeremy. 

Knowing he was human, I got the switchblade and cut his forearm. Doing the same thing as Elena, I closed the tab and walked out the door as if I didn't did what I did.

Okay...now I had to go to the quarry. The same place my father unleashed his werewolf side. It didn't have to be here, but I needed open land away from the citizens. Can't do this in the middle of town.

Taking the candles, I lined them up in the middle of the land. Taking the two tubes of blood, I poured a little of each into the middle of the circle.

Okay, now, I needed Kol's body which was in the mansion basement. I only know that because when I went in search for the duffle bag I saw coffins so one could only assume.

Walking into the house and down the basement stairs, I saw the coffins in the corner of the room. I opened one, it was empty. I opened the one next to that one, it was empty too. I opened the third one, and there laid Finn. Nope, wrong uncle. I then opened the forth one, and smiled. Here he was.

I picked up his body with ease, and closed the coffin as if it never happened. I then sped back to the quarry only to find two humans watching the circle of lit candles in question. Rolling my eyes at how curious humans could be, I walked in front of them and compelled them to move aside but stay in viewing distance.

I placed Kol's body on the ground, in the middle of the circle. I got the tubes, filled with Gilbert blood, and threw it in the air as I chanted, "Spiritus !! Adiuva me, et converteret ad se spiritum Kol Mikaelson !! Ad vitam immortui [1]"

I had chanted that spell, about 5 times, when Kol's body started regaining color. I now needed to do the part, where it actually brought him back. I raised my hand to the thundering sky, and drew in electricity. It drew shock to my body, but didn't effect me. I brought my hand back down, fast, and let the electricity to Kol's body, shocking him awake.

He shot up, sitting down and gasped; but I wasn't yet finished.

"Original lamia est , Kol Mikaelson !! Et pro salute mea et hic est sanguis doppelgängers [2]" I threw the remaining of Elena's blood in the air, making it disappear.

I brought both my palms down, making it thunder dangerously. I closed my eyes, exorbing the energy. I felt the electricity coming into my hands, I made my palms more aggresive, and raised both my palms into the air, letting the electricy, run back into the sky, making the thunder stop.

I opened my eyes, and stopped chanting and looked at a now smiling Kol. I motioned for the two humans, and he instantly ran towards them, draining them of all their blood.

I signed, exausted. Took some energy out of me, but I'll live, and so did Kol. And I did an extra spell, to put protection on my family.

Once he finished, eating the two humans, he looked back at me, smiling. A real smile, not a half smile, or a smirk. Full on grinning. He ran towards me, grinning like an idiot. I pulled me into a hug, suprising me.

"Thank you, my niece. I cannot thank you enough," He said, letting go of me.

"Well, I've been gone for about 2 hours, so want to make your living status known now?" I asked, and he nodded.

"I like making an entrances." He said, as we went back to the Mansion.

As we got there, we heard about seven voices. Three of the voices were worried, while the other four were pissed.

"Where could she be?!" Dad yelled, at no one. "Last time I saw her, she was in the Grill" Remi said, sadly. Someone was about to say something, when I walked in. Kol stayed outside, waiting for his cue.

"Where were you?!" Bekah yelled, getting over protective. "I was doing something." I said, shrugging.

I ignored them, and turned to Elena and Jeremy. "So, I guess the spell wore off." I said, smirking. "That was you?!" Elena yelled, and I smiling, nodding. "Oops," I said, not showing any care.

"Why did you need their blood?" Stefan, I assume, asked. "For a spell." I said, smirking. "What spell-" I cut Damon off.

"You can come in now!" l yelled, and that was Kol's cue.

He came in, grinning. Everything went silent. No one dared to say anything. You could basically hear a pin drop.

"Kol," Bekah breathout out, eyes wide. "Brother," Dad and Elijah said, in sync, shocked.

"K-Kol?" Elena and Jeremy said in sync, obviously terrified at the moment. The fact that I used their blood for a spell was totally out of everyones mind now. Everyone was surprised, shocked, or scared that now, Kol was back.

And he was back for good.

Surprisingly, this was the chapter that I had most trouble editing. I just ended up copying the last couple paragraphs of the unedited version, pasting it on here and just editing the wrongly spelled words. Oops.
