Someone once told me that the only antidote to mental suffering is physical pain. At the moment it felt as if my body had been beaten an battered the pain I feel is overpowering for sure. I wish that it was true but for the amount of pain im currently in my emotions are all over the place when I awoke my eyes felt like weights they were so heavy trying to open them at first was an impossible mission so I laid there an assessed the world around me trying my best to completely understand what has happened an exactly where I was going from here. the lady told me I have a destiny to fulfill but at the moment I don't even feel as if I could walk to the bathroom let alone complete some mission trying once again to open my eyes I felt them flutter. fear reared its face fear at what I might see once im fully able to open my eyes. slowly I open them the sun flowing in from my beige and yellow curtains looking around I realizes im back at home in my bedroom but it was clean everything back in place somethings were missing like the lamp from my side table but I knew that was probably trashed it was way beyond being fixed in its place a new lamp sat I fit perfectly with the room with a light yellow shade. Push my body up into a sitting point I feel sharp points of pain waver throughout my body making me cry out so much for staying quite quickly regaining myself something at the foot of my bed caught my eye it was the same shades an everything but I couldn't be as I allow my mind to wonder I hear rose's weakened voice

"Listen someone is coming," she says slowly just as I was about to say I didn't hear anything I heard the fast pace of footsteps running up the stairs heading towards my room the door swinging open to reveal the woman from the woods. our eyes meeting I see a lone tear escape from her eyes making its way down her cheek stepping into the room she moves closer towards me taking a seat in the chair situated by my bedside. The silence in the room was deafening

"you are awake" she finally says with a breath of relief

" you say that as if its a miracle" my voice cracking my throat felt dry and rough a cough took over making my body shake with each cough jolts of pain swept throughout my body causing me to cry out. the woman jumped up running from the room " oh great shes left me here to die alone a painful death " I chuckle inwardly my humor taking over trying to focus on something else other than the desperate need for the pain to go away hearing the door reopen I see the woman reenter with a glass of water and something else clutched in her palm. eyeing her she came close helping me sit up an drink the water to calm my waves of coughs.

"Here take these they will help a bit "

she says as she hands the pills that had been tucked away in her palm shaking I reach out an take them eyeing them with concern sensing my concerns she continues on.

"there just pain pills they will help with the pain a bit but they won't last long our body's healing tends to fight off most medication."

after taking the pills I gather up the strength to sit forwards.

" what happened to me last night " I whisper

"last night" she questioned

" sweet pea you have been unconscious for 3 days" letting it settle in trying to comprehend what she had told me

" But it only felt like a moment I only talked to her for a few moments that can't be I wasn't there that long" insisting trying to get her to believe me

" what are you talking about you have been in this room laying in this bed for 3 days it was touch an go for a while we nearly lost you a couple of times but we were able to bring you back each time you started to slip. I thought we were going to lose you like we lost your father" she whispers the last part bearly audible to the ear
