An Unpleasant Warning

Lucy's POV

I didn't have much time to think over my decision.

"Attention all passengers, we are arriving in Magnolia now." I hear from the intercom inside.

I head back into my own car, getting my stuff ready for our arrival.

The train comes to a stop, and the doors open wide.

We all step off, excited to head back to the guild hall.

My guild mates and I rush through town.

It was supposed to be a happy event, but all our moods soon plummeted.

The guild hall was dark, but the light shining through the doors was enough to see the damage that'd been done when we left.

I cover my mouth in horror.

Tables toppled over, broken.

The benches weren't much better off either.

Of course, the main thing that caught my eye was the dagger stabbed in a table in the middle of the room.

I walk up to it.

The emblem...

"Oi, there's a note." Natsu says from behind me.

I look where the dagger is stabbing into the wooden table.

He's right.

I pull the dagger off, taking the note.

"My dear Lucy... there you are. I'm very sorry about your father. Before he passed, he gave me the knowledge that you'd joined a guild. As a celestial wizard, correct? I finally tracked it down, and so I sent someone over. Come home my darling. I'd love to hear the explanation towards why you don't use my lovely gift. Sincerely, your dearest Auntie Lilith."

I set the note down, looking at the emblem on the dagger.

It was red, with a dead, black rose withering away in the center.

Her emblem had always seemed that of pure evil to me.

I turn to everyone, feeling a tear stream down my face.

"Lucy, what's wrong?!" Natsu asks.

"I-it's all my fault..." I whine.

"Its always my fault..."

I recall fighting Phantom when my dad wanted me back home.

Now, it was the same with my aunt.

She, of course, was much worse.

"Fairy Tail will get through this together." Master says, now standing in front of me.

I hand him the dagger.

"I don't think it will be easy."

He takes notice of the emblem, and he too, realizes it's a threat.

"Lilith of the Black Rose, a systematic guild where she's the queen. It's unknown to most, and it's darker than dark. I've heard stories of that twisted woman, and none of them end well."

"Master, why would she attack Fairy Tail?" Levy-Chan asks.

Master shakes his head.

"That, I'm not certain of."

I gulp.

"Lilith is..."

Everyone looks at me.

"She's after me. I'm guessing after word of my father's death got around, it gave her a reason to see me again."

"Again?" Erza asks.

I look down at my feet.

"Yes, I've seen her before. She's cold-hearted and deceiving and—!"

I remember that day back then.

Being strapped onto that table, unable to escape.

I feel more tears pouring out.

"And she'll hurt all of you without a care in the world!"

Master puts a hand on my arm.

"Lucy, what's your attachment to this ill-spirited woman?"

"She's..."

"She's..."
