Lucy's POV

I was so glad to be relaxing in my pajamas.

I felt as if someone was punching me in the gut.

I sit in my bed, contemplating everything.

It was obvious something was going on.

All the eyes, all the attention would be stuck on me.

There really couldn't be much worse timing.

What was I going to do?

I didn't want the attention on me.

If the guild heard I was sick, some crazy rumors might get around.

Of course, none of them would believe the truth.

I wouldn't either if it hadn't happened to me.

Around 11 years ago, when I was 5...

My mom had just passed away, and my aunt had come to stay with us for a bit of time.

She was so cruel.

After her visit, I was never the same again.

She had experimented on me, like I was some lab rat.

She...

She inserted a lacrima into me, giving me a powerful magic.

I never use it.

I've hid it away all this time, but it can't be contained anymore.

It's bubbling back up to the surface.

I feel a sickening feeling, rushing to the bathroom to puke.

After all this time keeping it hidden, my body was having a hard time.

That one fateful day, when she put that lacrima in me...

She gave me dragon slayer magic.

I am...

The Celestial Dragon Slayer.

...but I don't want to tell them that.

I can't tell them that!

What would they think of the situation?

Or worse...

What would they think of me?

I feel another wave rising up my throat.

This wasn't going to be easy.

Suddenly, a spirit pops up behind me.

"Having issues?"

I puke again.

"Not the time, Loke."

He looks at me.

"Lucy, what's wrong? It's awfully strange you're this sick for no reason whatsoever."

I don't know what to say.

I mean, he is a celestial spirit.

Should I just tell him?

"Loke, I..."

There's banging on the door to the room.

"...Will explain later! You should go!" I say quickly.

He disappears just like that.

There's another moment of banging on the door.

"Lucy? Can we come in?" Erza shouts through the door.

"Yeah, you can come in!" I shout in reply.

The door of the hotel room opens.

"Ugh, what smells?" Gray complains.

"Sorry." I apologize.

Erza notices me kneeled on the bathroom floor, facing the toilet.

"How did you even get sick?!" She asks.

I wobble up, grabbing a tissue to wipe my mouth before washing my hands.

"I... don't really know actually."

They watch as I make my way out of the bathroom, crashing onto my bed.

"Go have fun. Don't waste you're time on me. I'm fine."

Gray sits on Erza's bed to face me.

"You're clearly not."

"Pff... of course I am!" I lie.

"You were just hurling in the toilet, Lucy..." He says plainly.

He has a point.

"Fine, but I can take care of myself. I'll let you know if I need anything, just go have fun."

They sigh.

"Okay. If you're that set on us leaving..." Erza says.

They exit the room and Loke reappears.

"Lucy, tell me what's going on."
