Alex's POV:

I stood by the door, I could hear my dad talking. That moment, I felt like if I stepped inside the room my insides would clutch. It's a weird feeling, it's not the hospital, it's what's inside that makes me feel the way I feel.

It's been a month since I met you. A cliche word, "since I met you." But it's true. You would always smirk at me but every time you did it, it would just make me laugh. Uncle Tyler said to open up, that he's always there for me if I feel down. Sitting on the side against the window with the sunrise behind me, I don't wanna open up.

I wanna get out of this room, I feel out of place. I slowly get up and go out. Dad and uncle Tyler suddenly ask where am I going but I won't respond. Everything felt like a blur why am I like this. I managed to find the lounge and just sat there like I was some paranoid kid.

"Uh... Hi..." Someone says.

It was Nate. I never actually got to know him, all I know is that he's Ryan Ross' son and Elise's friend.

"Hey." I greeted him.

It was awkward, considering our situation it is definitely awkward. My stupid ass of a brain decided to make it more awkward.

"I think that I... umm..." I decided to stop myself as I nervously start laughing.

"You what?" Nate raises his eyebrow... I think.

"I think that I... no... I like her." I managed to blurt out.

This time he did not say anything.

"I kinda already knew bud." He said which left me confused.

"That day... the way you look at her it was kinda obvious." He started to chuckle.

"Well... I do have a transparent face." I joked.

It's weird that is was that easy to tell someone the "truth" I scroll through my feed and immediately look through the Panic! The account they finally announced what had happened. The fans said their concerns and support, from my dad's band all the way up to My Chemical Romance expressed their support.

"So... um... did you just arrived now?" I asked.

"Yeah... my dad kinda left me in the house." He replied.

I thought it was really strange Ryan Ross would prioritize her over him right now, it's not that they're related or anything right?

Eventually, Nate went ahead to the room. Back to being alone, I guess. I could have gone with him but I rather not and it's not like I don't want to go inside it's more... of... well... I don't know. Sometimes emotions are too complex to understand.

I sit in that one spot for a couple of minutes to an hour. People walk past me, but I don't care either way. I feel a tap on my shoulder, I don't even look up because I know who it is.

"Hey, Alex!" Tyler says.

"Uh hi?" I said.

He sits beside me.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" He asks.

I don't say anything but eventually, I blurt out, "What's there to say?"

"Just remember we are here for you, your dad... and I are here for you." He says giving me a sympathetic look as is I did something wrong.

"Have you ever been in love? But then you didn't you were." I asked my confusing question.

It took him a while to respond which left me more awkward. Eventually, he figured it out and gave me a smirk.

"Don't worry about her, she'll be okay." He said giving a soft smile.

Uncle Tyler encouraged me to go back to the room. I'm not sure what's gonna happen next, but I'm sure I'm not gonna be a coward.

Brendon's POV:

After getting scolded by Sarah, this time I feel less sad. What I mean by that is I know that she could wake up anytime. I got a text from Pete saying that they are gonna drop by probably tomorrow which is nice.

Elise, I promise you I won't anything happen to you ever again. Sarah and I love you with all our heart, you've changed my life. Like what every parent says to their kid, 'You filled a hole in my heart."

That's enough of me being angsty and soft. Since Zack addressed that fans in both Twitter and Instagram, I decided to scroll through my comments. Most of them were supportive and the others? Well... I won't even go there. All of us were touched, I decided to thank them. I haven't done one in a while but I decided to open up Periscope and say my thanks.

"Umm... hi guys, I just want to say thank you to everyone who is giving us support. I know times are tough, but you have to keep smiling for all of us and for her. I know I'm not the best at making speeches, but it's important to know that I won't ignore you guys. My bros, you are like family to me. That's all for now, stay safe."

"Stay alive too! While you're at it!" Tyler shouted across the room.

I chuckled softly as I ended the short but meaning full periscope.

I sit there beside her bed, I watch what was ever on tv. I take her hand and rub it gently, 'cause that's what fathers do.
