"What do you mean you Deux Dregory's granddaughter!?" nabigla ako sa pagtaas ng boses ni Aiden, His eyes were full of anger and confusion. Agad na lumapit si Fabian at tiningnan ako ng mabuti

"Apo ka ni Sir Deux?" di niya makapaniwalang tanong. I saw Kaylie shook her head.

"Imposible! your mother is a human!" her voice was rising as well at napatigil ng may naalala "pero never kong nakilala ang papa mo" she whispered under her breath

"I'm not saying that it's true pero may chance! I keep seeing Deux's memories in my dreams! Nakita ko na ang bahay niya sa panaginip ko bago pa tayo atakihin nung taong gagamba! and right now, when I lost consciousness I saw him and Fabian! yung oras na pinalayas ka ni Deux sa kwarto niya!" 

"Ho-how did that happen?" Fabian stuttered. may naalala ako at mabilis na kinuha ang kamay ni Fabian.

"Fabian, do you remember Deux's son? in the picture. tatlo sila 'don, siya, isang babae at ang batang lalaki. do you know where he is now?" 

I looked at him with anticipation. Malaki ang chansa na ang lalaking iyon ay ang ama ko. He stopped and thought about it for awhile, his eyes widened and looked at me.

"Yes" he muttered under his breath, he looked at me like I was gold found in a sea of garbage "You do look like him"

My breath hitched, so totoo nga. The man in the picture was my father, nakaramdam ako ng panginginig, I tried so hard to swallow the lump in my throat. I've always wanted to meet my dad, I wondered what kind of person he could be but not like this. not like this.

"You have his eyes, Chestnut brown, just like my mentor's. And your hair, dark brown." He gasped, happiness mirrored his eyes "Hindi ko akalain na makikilala kita ng ganito. Your father was a great man"

Tumulo ang luha ko, I felt like my heart sank. Hindi niya naiintindihan ang nangyayari. For him, this is a happy reunion, ang apo ng taong hinahangaan niya ay nasa harapan niya but it was different in my eyes. Pain washed over me ngayon na narealize ko na ako lang ang pag-asa ilang lahat. 

Akala ko mabigat ang dinadala nila kesa sa dinadala ko but when I discovered the truth, the burden that I'm carrying is a hundred times heavier that theirs.

"Does that mean that the reason of all of these is because of your grandfather?!" galit na tanong ni Jayden, bigla akong nanlamig. They still believe that Dregory is the villain.

Hindi ako makapagsalita, hindi ako makagalaw. Hindi ko pa rin matanggap ang nangyayari. Everything just seems to be surreal, na parang nasa isang masamang panaginip lang ako. I really wanted to wake up.

"Jayden shut up! neither of us knew this! even Ela!" sigaw ni Kaylie pabalik.

"No! Matagal na tayong naghahanap ng sagot and it was right before our very eyes!"

"Hindi niya ginustong mangyari 'to!"

"Lolo niya ang nagsimula nang lahat ng ito! She has the responsibility to finish this!"

"Ano ang pinagsasabi niyo? ano ang ibig niyong sabihin? na masama si Deux?" tanong ni Fabian sa kanila

"Fck yeah! yang Deux na yan ang rason kung bakit nagkakasira sira na ang mundong ito! He created that book to destroy this world! to fall it into darkness!" galit na sigaw ni Blake

Mahigpit kong isinara ang aking mga mata, I wished the voices would go away. I can't handle this anymore, I wanted to run away. Somewhere no one could know me, somewhere far to all of this.

"Diyan ka nagkakamali! He was a great man! very kind to the people around him! tumutulong siya sa mga nangangailangan!"

"you see, that's where you're wrong! Hindi santo yang guro mo! He made potions and spells and curses for powerful people! Siya din ang gumawa ng libro na makakasira sa mga buhay ng mga nilalang dito sa Vindea!"
