Ch. 9 A new start?

*P.O.V. BB*

"Are you sure that's necessary?" I said to Raven "Can't we just keep her in there?"

"Beast Boy, it's her choice, we voted, remember?" She reminded me.

"I voted against it." I grumbled.

She smiled slightly "I know, and I also know it's hard, but it's for not only good for is, it'll be good for her. She won't be haunted by her past, and Slade can't get to her."

"What if he does get to her?" Suddenly my heart stopped "what if he finds her."

"I'll explain that later." Something flashed in her eyes. Hope? No way.

"Okay." I pouted and trudged back to my room.

*P.O.V. Raven*

I couldn't wait. I know it's not like me at all, but I honestly was so excited. I rushed to my room, feeling panic rising. What the heck is going on. An unfamiliar feeling rose up inside me. I knew if I let it go, I would break all the windows in Jump City at once. So I wrote a messy note to the others, and went to the one place I knew was safe. Azarath.

When I got there I immediately let out a high-pitched squeal. The top of a building nearby exploded. I slapped my hand over my mouth. Of course no one was there, but I still couldn't destroy the whole city. I sat down on a pile of debris nearby and rubbed my temples. What. The. Hell. Is going on. I never feel anything, much less glee. So why was I suddenly squealing like a fangirl now? I thought about what I was planning to tell the others. The instant I did a crazy smile appeared. Why am I so... happy? It's weird for me to do that. Be happy. But my idea is a pretty big deal, especially for me. Acting like I'm normal. Feeling like I'm normal. I knew how we were going to protect Terra. By joining her.

Sorry! Super short chapter. so? What do you think of Raven's sudden outburst? kinda translated my feelings toward the idea, and I'm not Raven sooo... Yeah!
