Rory Forbes had did not want to move back to Mystic Falls. She wanted to visit her sister and go back to her already hectic life. Her life was supposed to be normal, or at least as close to normal as it could be in her situation. But, waking up with a five hundred year old vampire in your house ensures that your life will be anything but normal.
She ends up stuck in Mystic Falls while being used by Katherine Pierce. And right as she finally has the chance to go back to her safe little life, her ex boyfriend triggers his werewolf curse.
